I ordered the codfish and chips for delivery. Everything arrived hot from the kitchen and was of excellent quality. Fish portions were fairly sized for the money, chips were plentiful, and all was tasty and fried in fresh oil and did not drip with grease. The portion of chips is huge! Bring your appetite! I will order from this place again.
Fantastic Haddock & Chips and totally authentic with great portion sizes.It really hit the spot for my fish and chip craving. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. The only downsides were lack of drink variety and very limited seating. Stop by is you are in the area!
Horrible experience for the first time and last time there. Ordered at 6:10pm, told it would be ready at 6:30 and waited until 6:50. Most disorganized, dirty and poorly operated restaurant I’ve ordered from. Every customer waiting was frustrated and angry. No urgency either or unapologetic for late, poor service. Never going back.
One of the haddocks was very crunchy and delicious. The other was undercooked with soggy dough. The fries were ok but slightly burned and overcooked.
Have ordered from here half a dozen times. The last 2 times we've been very disappointed. Last order, the fries were crispy little bits and pieces and the rest mushy, seemed old. This time, after placing an online order with a 45 minute pick up, had to wait another 15 mins more. The fish itself was good, nice and hot, but, the batter was way too thick, and inside seemed undercooked and mushy. The gravy was lumpy, jellylike and cold. The coleslaw containers were filled just over halfway and way too creamy, swimming in sauce. After the last time we ordered and were disappointed, we thought we'd try it again and are even more disappointed...Guess we'll be looking for another place for fish and chips

Updated November 2021: had heard food improved here so decided to retry. Went a month ago, the fish had improved. Tried again tonight with the family. First, fish was overcooked. Ordered two gravies, staff told my husband I only ordered one, but it was definitely two. He said the staff was pretty rude to him and other customers, which was also my experience when I went a month ago. To too it off, our single gravy wasn't even lukewarm. As you can see in the pic, it's gelatinous and thick, because it's not hot.If you order online, bring a copy of your order to ensure you get what you ordered. And expect to be treated with distain.Original review: Not to my taste, though service was fine. The food could be improved.
The fish is really good but messy. The batter slides right off the fish or at least the fish I had. The size of the fish wasn't as big as I was expecting but it was a decent size. I only had one haddock but it did leave me wanting another one. I didn't try the fries.
The halibut is very good. And, the sweet potato fries are recommended. Get two pieces of fish and the the sweet potato fries.
Didn't think gluten free fish and chips could be so fabulous. Well done
