Went in on Victoria Day since it was one of the few restaurants open. Wifi is listed as free all over the restaurant, but it is password protected. For drinks my wife ordered a Cesar and I ordered a coke. She said the Cesar was GREAT, while my coke arrived in a can. It wasn't a big deal, but I do wish the menu clearly stated it was a can instead of fountain. My wife ordered the BLT and I ordered the bacon cheddar burger (I forget the name). The food took 45 min to arrive, to which the waitress said it was because a burger takes a long time to cook. The BLT was generous with the bacon, but the bread was incredibly dry. The burger was cooked to a hockey puck, but very generous on the toppings as well. The homefries that came with both meals was cooked properly, but had no seasoning or flavor. The waitress was inattentive and impolite. Our drinks ran out as our food arrived, but she made no attempt to offer water or additional drinks. We had to waive her down to ask for waters later, to which she responded "yea" and nothing else. Honestly she seemed intent on closing down the restaurant early due to the holiday rather than serving the few tables seated.Long story short, very unimpressed. Only giving it 2 stars instead of 1 because of the Cesar, which we could go to a bar and get for the same quality and price.
Will never go back. Waited an hour for our food and watched take out order after take out order get taken out. Ordered the breakfast poutine which is made almost of all homefries and they were not fully cooked. Ate maybe 6 bites. Offered nothing for experience. Free tea? Free coffee? Discount? No thanks. See you never.
The older gentlemen who served me was incredibly nice and patient! The food tasted amazing as always and there was barely any wait. (Also, the bathrooms were impeccable!)
I don't know about y'all ?, but 15 bucks plus tax for an omelette is too much. I didn't get a coffee but after tip, almost 20 bucks. Sign of the times or what? It was nice to actually sit in a restaurant but I seem to remember them being a lot busier for the time of day. SOTT. I do think it's important to support local businesses and restaurants. ??
Not too busy when we went (Friday morning and only 3 other customers at the time). Staff is friendly and quick with service. Food is good. Portions are great and prices are reasonable. It is located right at the mall.
These people are very friendly, they pay attention to your needs, and carry lovely smiles. They set aside a piece of time for that small talk that we all require, very lovely to see. Happy Easter guys, carry on the good work. ?????

I come here almost every Saturday morning because of how great the breakfast and staff is. My weekend always gets a great start when I come out to the Sunset Grill @ the Fairview mall. Thank you for the great breakfast!
Poor to middling.Food was cold and overcooked as if it had been under a a heat lamp and not prepared fresh.Server seemed nice but made a number of mistakes in the order.Their post in response to this review is the canned response they have given multiple reviewers. Obviously, they have no pride in their business or want to correct the issues. For that they lose another star.
Very disappointed with our whole experience. We ordered pancakes and coffee, that's it. Took nearly 45min (4 other tables in the restaurant) and finally when the pancakes arrived they were flat and lukewarm at best (wish I had taken a picture of these pathetic looking pancakes). We brought this to our server's attention and she simply apologized for the cook and then asked us if we wanted more coffee. What?!? Clearly from the reviews, we are not the only ones here with a bad experience. We will not be returning
