tasty good, wonderful atmosphere and fantastic service
I was excited to eat here based on the other google reviewers. The disappointment started as soon as we arrived. No parking so hopefully you can find a spot on the street. The prices are a little high, and portions are on small side. Wonton soup left much to be desired. It was like sipping the water you just boiled pasta in and then added herbs for flavor. The wontons were OK but it seems like cilantro is thrown into everything as the main source of flavor. We ordered two main courses dishes, one with medium spicy and one with full. They came backwards so the person wishing to enjoy the medium spice had to endure the full on spicy. Long story short for $73 none of really enjoyed the meal. The thai iced teas were good and the vegetables and herbs were all fresh.
We visited The Spicy Thai in St. Catherine's on Saturday evening and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We had the Pad Thai and the Spicy beef. We asked that the Spicy beef be mild and we found it was spicy enough but not overly so. The service was fantastic. Our server was attentive and helpful. I would definitely go to the Spicy Thai when we are in St. Catherine's again.
I experienced two negatives and five positives with my group of seven. There is only parking on nearby streets, a less than five minute walk. Two of the meals were served about 10 minutes after the first five meals were served. The server apologized. Offsetting that, the food was extremely tasty. I had the best lemon chicken ever. The portions were large. We went home with four cartons of leftovers. The ambience was nice. Separation from other diners felt safe. Service was excellent. One person from my group forgot his smartphone on the table. We got a call from the Spicey Thai restaurant just minutes after we left to alert us. They had our number because we made a reservation. Recovering the phone was worth a sixth star. Highly recommended!
My colleague and I were looking for a place to eat for dinner. We stumbled to Spicy Thai by chance and we were glad it happened. The food was just phenomenal. We ordered the basil shrimp and tofu cashew entree. We also tried a chip appetizer, which was on the house. What was great was the spice level. We wanted the meals to be extra spicy and they certainly did just that. This place is a definite big hit.
Such great Thai food! Some of the most authentic I’ve ever had. The Tuesday special is also such a great deal!

Visiting St. Catherine’s and was looking for a place to have dinner. Our host suggested SpicyThai and we are glad she did. Great service. The food arrived hot and was very flavourful! Would highly recommend!
Really Thai cuisine here. Love the coconut soup and the server so professional
A nice restaurant to enjoy some warm Thai food. Their spicy beef and red curry was excellent. Not a fan of Basa fish though loved the sauce. Crispy duck was good too. Service was quick and we enjoyed it.
