This place is brilliant. It's so warm and cozy. From the moment you step in you feel so invited. It's such a quaint little place. The interior is lovely, but the back patio where I went is awesome with a really nice view. The food is wonderful and reasonably priced. They have a few staples that they cook and prepare very well. While I haven't really had much of the alcohol menu they have plenty of options. It goes without saying the board games are abundant and well varied, so I'm sure everyone can find games they want to play. My girlfriend and I had a blast with only a couple card games. Also, particular shout out to Josh who was one of the most charming, informative, inviting servers I've ever had the pleasure to meet. This guy was in his element with so much charm and grace. I had no idea what I wanted to drink or play and got by on his suggestions, which were excellent. This place is terrific and you will not regret going.
This place is so unique…Unlike other board game places in town, the food is unexpectedly TOP NOTCH! You can tell they really take pride in their menu and they even make their own buns. Tried a great selection of local beer and funky cocktails too (try the ‘Candyland’). Our double date was SO much fun playing trivia while we lounged — and the creme brûlée was dynamite ? Can’t wait to go back!!!

This is such an awesome place! Every single time I'm in St Catherines, I come here. Ludology is great because it has something for everyone. Of course there are the games but there's fun, delicious drinks and tasty food and I never feel any pressure from the staff to do all three. There's been times when I've come in for just drinks and food and other times just for drinks and games and it's never been an issue.The atmosphere here is awesome too. A ton of comfortable seating and some really cool artwork too. The food is always delicious and there's some really creative drinks on the menu.The staff is also very friendly! The last few times I've went my server has been Reuben and he's great! He's friendly and very attentive but not at all pushy.Overall I love this place. If you have the chance, I highly recommend visiting.

This was my first time going to Ludology but I will definitely be going back, I had an absolute blast. The drinks we ordered tasted great and the server Josh was so entertaining and welcoming. We even got to roll a die to choose a flavoured shot! It was a ton of fun!We never once felt rushed to finish our game or pressured into buying food and drinks just to be there. I would highly recommend it if you want a fun, tasty and cheap night out!
I went into Ludology blindly tonight with a few friends not really knowing exactly what to expect. Our Server Josh kept our entire experience extremely fun. The board game selection was great and the drinks were awesome, we will definitely be back.Thanks Josh for the great service and for bringing me and my friends together!
Had another great night a Ludology Cafe. Josh the Great was again our server, and was as always friendly, knowledgable, funny and attentive. Food was great, but the espresso martinis are out of this world. Highly recommend. ?
Fun for the whole family. The first time I visited was with my wife for a quick drink and game before a dinner reservation at another restaurant. We had such a good time we came back for lunch the next day with the kids. We’ve since been back many times including with many different friends. The hospitality is exceptional, the atmosphere is great, and the game selection and organization is impressive. But best of all - the house hamburger can not be undersold. It is literally one of the best hamburgers I’ve ever had every time I have it. I dream of that burger. Ask the staff to tell you about the love and care that goes into their hamburger… it’s impressive. See you there. Enjoy!!
