Just having dinner here. Amazing atmosphere. Very casual and fun. Staff here are very friendly and enhance the atmosphere. Very helpful. The food is absolutely amazing. The photos in the menu look like the real thing. The food does not disappoint at all. The drinks (beer) are ice cold and so good going down.Besides the food and atmosphere, I truly have to say the staff make this place a perfect dining experience. I am truly a fan now. Will return for sure. Thank you.
Always a decent quality. Benchmark eatery. Not sure if they still do this but kids used to get a toy from a giant chest after dinner. Was always happy to come here as a kid because of that. The food it good!
Had a great meal. Pizza, chicken tenders, “Lightlife” burger, fries, onion rings, veggies and ice cream. The kids ordered a chocolate chip cookie shake and it was fantastic! Unfortunately, we were so hungry we ate everything and have no photos of food!No reservations on weekends… that includes Fridays.Clean facilities and washroom.Server was friendly and attentive.
We came in this weekend with our hockey team and families for lunch. Everyone was impressed by the service! Kids all got their meals first- together. And then the parents. Thanks for helping us organize, Laureen!
Went to Kelseys with my family and my 4 year old who was having a hard day. We had the best server ever! His name is Colin and he was A+++. The children's meal comes with ice cream (which we usually tell my daughter no to and a fight ensues). Colin wrote on a paper asking if we want ice cream so that she wouldn't be able to hear. Best idea ever, I'm sure lots of parents can relate to that! My daughter loves cherries and he gave her a few to go along with her milk. I rarely write reviews, but this service was beyond excellent. Thank you Colin for making our evening awesome and making my daughter smile.
Decided to try the chain food style for a change. And it is what it is. It's just okay. Menu is limited with not many good options. I went with the high price item hoping it would be good. The steak and mashed potatoes. And it was worst than expected. Meat was chewy and rubbery for medium rare. Potatoes are powder potatoes and vegetables were just bleh. Service was mediocre.Only thing I'd say that saved the experience were the Buffalo potatoe skins. Which were pleasantly good. All in all this is why I try to stay away from such places.
My boyfriend and I love coming here. The drinks are good and we love the food. I always get the spinach dip and we were very excited to see the permanent addition of mac and cheese balls to the menu. Being able to sit outside on the patio in the summer is an added bonus.
We go once a year hoping the food is better. My wife normally gets the steak, but its always over cooked. This time tried the chicken wings. Said they tasted off. We told the server, the server said they are leftovers from yesterday's wing night and we half cook them day of wing night. So yeah... Kelseys food is terrible. I've worked at Kelseys before too... its not the cleanest kitchen.
We decided to order take out for lunch from the YMCA drive location. We ordered the spinach dip. Was great. Chicken fajitas (not so great) we never even touched the meat. It looked dry and it really didn’t smell all that great. Not appealing at all. Chicken fingers were over cooked and just disgusting. We usually never have issues. But then we never get take out from there. We live right around the corner and when they said it would only take 10 minutes. I should have just stopped the order. The chicken meat looked like it was around for a few days and then just microwaved. Live and learn.
Terrible food. Terrible menu. Good staff. Kelsey's USED to be a pretty good restaurant. Now it just another corporate restaurant that serves terrible food designed in some kitchen just to make money. Come on. You can do better.
