Was just in town staying at the Holiday Inn across the street and boy was I glad I chose this local joint. Friendly welcome with the chef (Johnny?) and some banter. Got the pastrami sandwich which came with a nice dill pickle to complement the flavours. Honestly one of the best pastrami sandwiches I’ve ever had; tender, juicy and seasoned perfectly to go with the mustard and bread. Wish I got a second order and I had it to go! Still maintained its freshness. Sorry, should’ve took a picture but I devoured it.
Eating as I write. Came to St. Catherine's to pickup a buy sell item. Got hungry for a proper breakfast and coffee.Friendly staff greeted me right away. Seated right away. Brought coffee right away. Great coffee by the way.I ordered a breakfast. It was brought in under 3 minutes...HOT and delicuous.Props to serving staff and cook staff.Cheers.
I visited June 2022. The two waitresses I dealt with are the reason I am never going back. Extremely unprofessional and rude. I will never deal with them again. And they will never get my money again.Bus a table and be polite. That's it and you both failed.
Great food, great staff, overall a wonderful place to relax and have a great breakfast!
Haven't been in a few months, but will not return. We ordered a large sandwich to share as these have always been too much for one of us. Our large sandwich was smaller than half of the usual Small. Not impressed with the reduction in size for the price paid.
This "So Called" family restaurant fired one of their employees after they requested a few days off to take care of their partner who was involved in a serious accident on the weekend. I will never support this business and suggest others boycott them as well. This is just completely unacceptable and disgusting behaviour by an employer.
We have always gone here for our breakfast (Ontario street). The last time we went, it was 2pm and this pretty little blonde waitress was there. She didn't even acknowledge us, although there was only one other table in there. I felt a rude vibe and waited for her to greet us, say hello or even smile…. Nothing but awkward silence. Obviously she didn’t want us there. I had never seen her before, so I suspect she is new. Needless to say, we left. We have moved to the lake street location and have been very happy there.
Great service, used mainly by locals. Food was quick and great quality. Endless coffee!!
Small spot. But good food. Price point is good ! Service is friendly. I tried the smoked meat clubhouse which is a different option than other breakfast spots. Wasn't the best! But was still pretty good ?
