The oaxtail was delicious, rice and peas with those big juicy peas and some sliced carrots.. Gravy is perfect I always get my rice drowned in it, normally ask for spicy gravy but forgot this time and turned out to be just the right amount of spice.If you’re in Niagara it’s worth a little detour to eat good food.
I had placed my order with Skip before coming to read the review. I was scared when I saw people with 1 star and with serious complaints. I thought, what have DONE, my money has gone to waste. To further compound my fear, was the carefree way the owner responded.Before my meal arrived, I was already looking for an alternative dinner.Guys, the food was smashingly good to look, exquisite aroma and most importantly ? DELICIOUS ?.Now, I am sure those with 1 star rating ordered elsewhere or were paid to discredit the restaurant.Moral of the story, anything 4 start is worth the risk.My next plan is to visit physically, but it would be challenging because Sundays by 6pm to 8pm is a time dedicated to eating out in a good restaurant. This is the worst place I've eaten. Food was mainly fat and barely a bite of meat. I highly recommend that you never buy anything from them. Even after I told them and showed them how fatty my order of meat was, they did nothing and offered no help or refund.tasic Go to charms. Fantastic staff, great food and very reasonably priced.
Wow, the delicious aromas greet you as you walk in the door to Jamrock Irie Jerk. I had placed my order online in advance, and everything was getting packed up hot and fresh for me as I arrived. We enjoyed a feast of goat curry, chicken roti and jerk chicken wrap. If you like it spicy, this is the place to get your tastebuds tingling! Portion sizes are generous for a reasonable price.
Never again. Bought jerk chicken and curried goat and fish and felt like I just threw away all my money. The jerk chicken had no smokey taste it was just pure pepper. We went and asked for a refund but they gave use two pieces of fried chicken that was cold and stale. We had to throw it all away. These Jamaicans would rather lose customers than to refund our money. They are the meanest people on the planet. Terrible Jamaicans.RESPONSE TO YOUR RESPONSEDo you forget that we called before we came back in the restaurant for the refund and on the phone you asked if we started eating it saying if we did you cannot refund? Anyway you owe it to your customers warn them that your food is extremely hot and a wise person would make mild for people who cannot handle the excessive harshness. Recently we spent $188 at Red Lobsters and in short we experienced negative effects and were fully refunded. Same thing happened in Mississauga at Moxies we were pampered and the desert were on them and all happened is that they did not take the order properly. All I am saying is put your customers first. My apology for letting our emotions get the better of us and threw the food away.We are sorry for that.
I had the curry goat and jerk chicken. I paid an extra $4.50 for curry goat. Overall everything was delicious, plenty of rice in it. Just wish they gave a little more meat for the price which was $21.50ish tax included
Love this place. It's been a while since I had their goat roti, and it brought me back to life today. If you want fast food that's homemade, delicious and doesn't upset your stomach, this is your place.
Do not order from this restaurant, we are a group of 16 people right now looking to order food and I mentioned this restaurant and it just so happens that there was an issue yesterday, and again just so happens we see a response to the review today so we decided to call the restaurant to solve this issue but from the phone conversation I just hear I can guarantee you I will not be buying here not ever, immma hit up McDonald's before I buy from yall. Very disrespectful. If you like being disrespected while spending your money then that's the spot for you but other than that take your business else where, and the reviews will keep coming like I said it's a group of 16 of us who was going to order from your store.
I am not sure why this place has a 5 star ! I ordered the curry goat and it was horrible , it legit tasted like it was made with SUGAR! The white rice is NOT IT very mushy and tasteless. I will never come back to this place . If you are looking for GOOD AUTHENTIC Jamaican curry goat do not go here for it .
