Twenty minute drive from Niagara on the Lake. Right on Welland Canal. Boat pass right by out door patio that fills up early. Service was really good. Food was a hardy Greek serving.

There are no vegetarian options for kids on the kids meals. They charge you extra for vegetarian rice without chicken stock. Not particularly friendly about any of this either. This place should be removed from the vegetarian friendly options

The food was pretty good and the service friendly. It would have been fun to see a ship pass by in the Canal just below, but timing didn't work out. Lunch specials are very reasonably priced, by the way. I had the half portion of the moussaka with Greek salad and my husband had the grilled vegetable wrap.

It was a great and comfortable place to eat lunch with my friend! The server was so kind that she let us know how to pronounce the name of menu as we got there for the first time and not familiar with Greek food. lol Foods were also awesome. I highly recommend this place as well. :)

I usually don’t take the time to make reviews because I like to give the benefit of the doubt, but if I could choose 0 stars I would. A couple days ago I ordered the 12$ meal which includes rice, salad, potatoes and chicken. But I asked nicely for just rice and potatoes along with the chicken instead. When I got my order, I said thanks and was about to go on my way, but the food in the bag felt light. Lighter than a usual 12$ food meal. I opened it and saw the least amount of rice, three small pieces of potato and a piece of grilled chicken. Usually when a customer is dissatisfied, the establishment should at least try to tend to the concern, but they refused to add any more rice, or any more potatoes. After a long day at work, getting something that will fill your stomach is how you conclude the day on a positive note. But they were looking at me as if I was crazy, for wanting a tad bit more. Terrible customer service. The picture says it all.

We sat on the patio and were able to watch barges and other boats move along the canal. But the view is topped by the authentic Greek food. The servings are generous and the service was great. Our only disappointment was that we ordered a bottle of wine that we were unable to finish and then discovered that George’s does not have a corkage licence so we had to leave 1/2 bottle of wine behind. We’ll know better next time!

George’s has the most amazing food! Always a great experience and the staff are awesome!

My lamb chops $25.95 made me feel very suspicious right from the start.Out of respect for my guests at the table I decided slowly consume it.Lamb chops turned out to be not marinated and broiling to medium rare was very far from it,it was simply baked until crispy.I slowly began digging out of meat from lots of bones and tendons and quickly concluded that I must show this to the waiter.Of course, the waiter quickly agreed with my comments, took my plate and in a moment brought a new portion of "lamb chops" This new portion after seeing it looked even more suspect,I had not seen any broiling here at all,and the taste was really hideous . Not wanting to call the waiter again and bother my guests again,I decided to eat remaining part of the dish with rice and potatoes, and by the way I pretended that I was consuming my lamb and slowly cut it into pieces. There was no question of eating this meat,it bore the hallmarks of an old ram. At the end of our dinner I gently advised the waiter to bring these pieces of lamb to cook who prepared it and to try to eat it. I warn all the lamb gourmets that in this restaurant lamb is only good for dogs, but they must be very hungry or else they don't even look at it.

We just happened upon this place while touring the locks and nearby museum. What a find! The food was delicious, great service and the view from the patio allowed us to continue enjoying the boats going through the canal. Be sure to leave some room for the baklava sundae.

I recently had the lovely experience of dining at George's Greek Village restaurant. We were greeted by lively Greek music as we entered the restaurant. We were seated immediately by a very friendly hostess. The menu is a treat of Greek delicacies. The food is delicious! The waitstaff is very attentive and friendly. All in all a very positive experience.
