I went for dinner with 4 others friends..we were seated and given menus to place our orders and so we did. After placing our meals orders of 4 T bone steak a long with appetizer and drinks the waitress went away and came back to inform us that we can’t stay because we had empty beer can on our table that was not purchased inside the restaurant.. Its ridiculousness that host meet and seated us with beer can in our hands and never said anything.. I really don’t want to think that we were racially profiled..
Food took almost an hour and came out cold. Refused the ice cold steak bites but were charged for them. Waitress informed us that the BOSS said to charge us. We go their a few times a week, know waiters and waitresses by name and now will be spending our money elsewhere. They aren’t the only place in town but seem to think they are. “Trust”bar and grill downtown hasn’t let us down.
I wanted to thank the stuff at Chuck's Roadhouse Bar & Grill, every time myself or my partners or friend go in has always been the best serves. Also tonight I went in with two other friends the food was amazon, right on key point. Tonight on July 16, 2022 was not different food was hot on time, the server was extremely polite. She even went out of here way to make sure that my order was made right, as I have a up most extrema food Allergy to common spice. They have always gone out of the way to make changes, to my meal with out any question's or up charge. To myself I am so extremely grateful and thank full for their extra support going out of the way to make this happen. I even called the Manger over to the table tonight after the bill was paid to share that how thankful of the hard work that all the staff put into the customer meals. Its the front and back team make this happen all the time, no mater what part of the day this is, from lunch rush to dinner rush or after 9 pm or later. They always work hard to make it right for the consumer. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for reaching for the starts guys, to all the front staff serves from wonderful guys and the wonderful girls how work the long hours. Some of them work form open to close to make it a wonderful place to come into enjoy good serves with amazon good food. I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed my lunch here. I had previously been to another Chucks Roadhouse and was disappointed in the quality of the food, and so was a bit apprehensive about this visit. I am happy to say that it was delicious. I had a burger with fries, the one I chose did not have the sauce I wanted, when I asked for it there was no problem. I very rarely eat the bun, however this time I was enjoying it so much that I devoured it all. The wine was very nice too. Well I can honestly say that I very seldom manage a desert in a restaurant, however when I saw the Sticky toffee pudding, with pecans, Caramel sauce And Ice cream!!! How could I resist. Super delicious. The best is yet to come, the price!! It was incredible. Friendly service too. I will definitely be back.
I used to be a regular at Chuck’s before Covid. I’ve been back a few times since Covid restrictions lifted. I remember fall off the bone ribs. Tonight was the 2nd time I’ve had chew off the bone ribs. I’ve been to many restaurants, this is the 1st time I’ve had beer served that made me ask for a glass.
So, let me start off by saying, the reason for these two stars, and she is definitely 5 star worthy, was the nice lady Mel who takes care of my grandparents on a weekly basis here at this location.Other than that, I was honestly Appalled but what I had dealt with on the weekend of my birthday, and specifically my birthday dinner here at chucks!I originally chose this place, as it is close to home, great food and good service, and affordable too of course! However, after receiving two meals that were not up to standard, one specifically was a steak that was well over cooked, we asked for a simple replacement. I have worked in the industry for 6 years myself as a cook, and it happens ALL the time. At the end of the day, customer is always right, and you do what you can to maintain your customer satisfaction.In this instance, JAMIE, the so called manager, came back with a picture of the steak in the back kitchen, claiming “ In there kitchen lighting, it is cooked exactly the way you wanted”. Not only is that absolutely disgusting of a manager, but the food was improperly cooked. It blew my mind and from that moment we got our bills, and celebrated the rest of my birthday at a restaurant down the road.For what it’s worth, this $5 dollar piece of meat, could have saved a table of 13 customers for a lifetime. But apparently Jamie thought otherwise.Please reach out to me if possible. Thank you again for the experience. My meal was delicious, aside from this experience.
To he honest I enjoyed eating here but it has been brought down to a level of being a cheap place to eat and don't mind the quality...there's a reason why it's so cheap. They need to increase their menu prices in order to afford management staff capable of handling customers issues.Chucks Roadhouse dropped the ball with this experience.I literally sat next to a table where the manager brought a customers steak back telling them it was in fact cooked correctly. Admittedly, that was a first for me.
Chucks reasonable price menu items with drink specials. Steak is not quite like the Keg and little on thin side. Service is attentive but might wait a bit for drinks if busy. Overall a reasonable price family restaurant
The place was great. We only tried the appetizer because we wanted to drink lots of drought beer. The loaded cheese fries was the good combination with our beer.The staffs were friendly and accommodating.
