Great place for hotpot skewers. Went with a group of friends on a Saturday evening and had a great experience. You can get the skewers and dipping sauce by yourself and order as much lamb/beef as you want on the side. Waiters and waitresses cleared our table and refilled our water constantly. The soft-serve ice cream was also a standout compared to other AYCE places.
A decent place for AYCE hot pot. The staff were pleasant and quick to respond. They were informative of all the things that are included with your meal such as the unlimited lamb and beef that they bring upon asking and complimentary ice cream at the end of your meal. They have a variety of soup bases to choose from but be warned that their lowest spice level builds up and is actually pretty spicy. Otherwise the rest of the food is on skewers for you to cook, large selection but similar to other hot pot places in that regard.
So delicious. All you can eat. You can pick your soup base and make your own dipping sauce. There are so many options.
Terrific place. The service was great and the all-you-can-eat hotpot and skewer dishes were so savory and filling! It's a bit pricey, but definitely worth the money. Highly recommend!
Arrived at 7pm on a Tuesday and the restaurant was pretty empty. I was excited about my first dining experience here as I heard good things! But after trying, it's nothing special other than their food being on skewers!Contrary to other hot pot restaurants where they bring you what you order, you have to go to the fridge to get the skewers that you want aka buffet style. I felt the selection of Veggies and non meats were pretty standard. Nothing memorable. They do have premium lamb and beef that you have to order off the menu that's included in the AYCE that they bring out for you. I actually thought these unmarinated meats were better than the marinated skewer ones! The rest of the meats are marinated on skewers in piles in another fridge. This looked very unappetizing for me as I don't know how long all that meat has been there! I'm pregnant and I have to be careful with what I eat and ensure ingredients are fresh. I didn't find the meat skewers especially tasty either. Needless to say I didn't go back for seconds. Also All the skewers only had a couple pieces on there which is such a waste of skewer sticks! Why not pack more food on there?I usually would opt for the pork bone soup base but didn't want to risk it as another reviewer said they got food poisoning from that? I ended up going with the tomato soup which tasted standard. The cost here is $27.99 per adult plus your soup base price which is at least $6.99 depending on which you choose. Tbh I've had better hot pot elsewhere and think the skewers is just a gimmick.
Terrible service, we were basically ignored all night and definitely not the place for anyone who can’t handle spice! So my partner and I have never been to hotpot before but were very excited to try it. I am not able to eat very spicy food, and was told at the door that there was non-spicy options. We sat in for all you can eat and there was not many options for me to eat, almost everything was very spicy. The staff were very unwelcoming, didn’t help us with the process of hot pot at all, even after mentioning we’d never done it before. The server who took our order for the soup base was almost rude, as if he didn’t want to be helping our table. The service was overall terrible. Were weren’t checked up on, or given a container for the skewers, our dishes nor skewers were cleared (only once when we left the table to try other things), we couldn’t even get more water or napkins! We were essentially ignored all night but observed that staff were attentive to all the other tables around us.I mentioned our poor experience on the way out to the manager, her excuse was that they were “very busy”, but when we got up to get food or looked around, the restaurant was not packed or noticeably “very busy” especially since most of the experience is self-serve. We also noticed several staff members come around (just not to us). My partner even noticed staff walk by our area (which also included other tables), look our way and avoid us, walking the other way. The manager tried to provide a little customer service to us, apologized for our poor experience, but it definitely did not make up for the ruined dining experience. Will not be going back there again, hands down the worst experience I’ve had dining out.
Instagram @chopstixinthesix Follow Us!We went for AYCE Skewers Hot Pot. This is such a cool concept, who would have thought skewers are also enjoyable boiled!! This place lets you grab your own skewers, ranging from meats, fish balls, and vegetables! They have a variety of different soup bases, you can choose your spicy level, we got the Legend Spicy & Pickled Chili and Vegetable Soup Bases, they were both equally as delicious and complimented the skewers really well!
It was my first time trying out a skewers hotpot place. Luckily we went for lunch on a weekday so we didn’t need to wait for a table at all. I passed by before, they were very busy at night time. This restaurant was super clean, the food was fresh and the service was excellent. The ambiance was very nice. It was very spacious and relaxing. I enjoyed our 2hrs unlimited AYCE hotpot dining very much. They had a great selection & variety of skewers, meats & vegetables. I would highly recommend this place for a hotpot gathering with family and friends.
Crossposted on IGFirst and foremost, you gotta know your spicy limit, seriously, don't ever assume everyone spicy limits are always the same because it is NOT!!!! And especially if the restaurant owner is from Chengdu... when its "medium" it might as well mean your lips are gonna hurt and your stomach is gonna hurt too lol! (My fellow diners didn't listen, brave souls????)I ordered a tomato soup based, delicious?? with skewers hot pot, You just pick what you want to eat from the ingredients section, and there were tons to choose from; you do have to order the premium meats from the servers, and they will bring them out?All you can eat, Lovely services, close by my home, and reasonable price, definitely returning??
The novelty of this place having things on skewers was the reason we came here. But for us it really didn't live up to the hype. Although there was good selection of food, you have to self serve yourself and the hot side dishes were often cold as a result. The soup bases for spicy were INSANELY spicy even for getting 1 flame level, and it made it difficult to enjoy my food. Service was spotty in terms of getting the free beef and lamb plates, and despite having lots of dishes NOT on skewers, they didn't offer us any hot pot spoons for use and we only discovered it seeing another table get it before we left. Same for the ice cream, which we realized was available from seeing another table get it even though it wasn't on the menu. Would've appreciated having these options told to us by the people serving us.The food is pretty good for an AYCE place but for the pricing it is a bit steep, especially since you don't share a pot like at other hot pot places, hence bringing the price up for having your own pot.
