Have been visiting this place for couple of years now. But seems like their food and drink quality has changed recently. During my last visit ordered ginger ale and it tasted VERY DILUTED. I was clearly able to taste their water in the ginger ale. Told the waitress and she refilled it for us without ice. But again it tasted exactly the same (VERY DILUTED). Also ordered, gar par fries and it tasted STRANGE. It had AFTER TASTE of chicken. I am a vegetarian person and I was able to quickly pick up that after taste of chicken in the fries. Asked the waitress if those fries were fried in the same oil as chicken and she said YES. Well, I personally don’t mind as I know it’s not a vegetarian restaurant but I have been eating at this location for couple of years now and never got the chicken after taste in their fries. It felt like they are SERIOUSLY trying to CUT THE COST by diluting the drinks and not filtering the oil as often. But at the end it will cost them the loyalty of their old customers. They have definitely lost 2 loyal customers by doing this.
This place offers halal options but charges more. Which is unusual compared to literally every other restaurant offering halal options but that’s fine. My issue is that on the half price wing day they don’t do the same for halal. So I get to watch my friends get 1/2 off while I pay more because I am only eating halal. It just seems pointless to claim to accommodate others but you refuse the 1/2 off discount while also charging more. Atleast offer 1/2 off the already inflated “halal tax”. Not only is this the ONLY place charging more for halal but they also refuse to give the 1/2 off discount.
Tuesday night pick up Basketball and Wild Wings..Never have any complaints. This place has always treated as well most specially when our most fave person Tasha was still here ( I hope spelled her name correctly ). Sad to know that she no longer work at Wild Wings.. but if yoh ever come across this review. THANK YOU ? . HOPE ALL IS WELL, TAKE CARE AND WE MISS YOU!
Some of the wings that came to us had blood all over the bones and meat - it was likely due to the temperature being too high so the blood vessels exploded. The wings were cooked but still was and tasted bloody. The waitress was nice but the service was slow. The manager also was quite rude. Overall, I don’t recommend.
The wings were great but somebody really cheaped out on the gar par fries. The fries were hard/crunchy and barely any sauce. We paid extra for the sauce so it should be slathered on! If you’re worried about them getting soggy you should provide the necessary amount of sauce to cover the up charge for ordering that specific item. The box grove wild wings location is my favourite for not skimping out on things like this. It makes or breaks a meal in my opinion
Went there for a couple of weeks now for their half price wings every Tuesday. The quality of their wings is 10/10 (got myself a sweet escape *I’d recommend it * ). Their fries are cooked beautifully and well seasoned also when you take bite there’s still a crunch to it. Shoutout to our server Suzan. She is just the best we were taken care off immediately from the moment we walked inside the restaurant until we finished our food and left. Overall experience above and beyond.
Nice cozy patio with gazebos to shield you from the rain equipped with propane outdoor heaters to keep you warm a they also have a nice spot for sunny warm days.
Suzan was a really nice host.?
Chicken tenders were well flavoured. Really enjoyed the Sweet Escape flavour (honey garlic + Gar Par) but the dry rub sour cream and onion wasn't as good. However, the service was fantastic. The nice waitress kindly moved our table of 11 from patio back indoors even though I requested patio a few times on the phone. It was really hot and they have a nice patio covering. However, it was just too humid and she moved us all inside after setting everything up. We really appreciated how she checked on us and how fast service was.
Sarah is the best this and love her service.
