My mom wanted to check out this restaurant while we were shopping so we came. She wanted to know which company the meat came from due to dietary restriction. She told us first Zabiha, my mom didn’t want it then she changed her answer to Zahra. My mom had changed her mind. While we were walking away, the worker just went insane screaming “I’m better than you” and wanted to say further things but someone else stopped her. I don’t even know why she said she’s better than us? It’s just food…it felt like we were being racially judged just for choosing not to eat there. Just for your safety because it seems like the worker can’t contain herself, don’t ask anything or don’t even bother coming near this place would be better.
I see that not everyone is satisfied here but my shawarma was perfect. Very rich and delicious. Also the staff was super friendly.
I ordered a chicken shawarma plate with a sprite, went to eat it and was enjoying it. Halfway through, I suddenly realized there is a hair in my food, and take it back. They immediately made a new plate and apologized, I went and sat back down. As soon as I opened this box, there was another hair sticking right out. I went back to the counter and pulled it out right in front of them, it was buried under all the food so it wasn't like someone could just place it on top. The first time I took it back they said we can't throw it out ourselves, so throw it out somewhere else, I said that's fine, but the second time they immediately took it back and threw it out as if I was trying to get free food. The two guys at the front gave me weird looks like I was trying to pull something funny, I just wanted to eat. They didn't even offer to just fix it properly and make me a plate without a hair, weren't apologetic at all the second time, I just asked for a refund and went to Naan and Kabob. It's weird because literally every restaurant has people wearing hairnets to prevent this situation, even McDonalds, which I've worked at, has higher standards for food handling and preparation, as well as customer service. This place was the only one with their team not wearing hairnets, the second time I went back and showed him the long hair he had the audacity to say "nobody that works here has long hair". Ten minutes later I'm eating and look back, and someone is working the cash register and prepping orders with long hair. Kind of a ridiculous situation and it was handled horribly by the workers, I wonder how they would've reacted if this happened to them. I literally ate half the plate not knowing about the hair, absolutely disgusting.
Very strict on amounts of salad and meat was not fresh. They are trying so save on basic service.
If is their any option of zero i would have given that, i usually have shawarma from their first time i tried poutine and that guy was so rude not even letting the worker to make potije asking him not too put fries make it worst zero customer service. Will recommend it from now
Worst place specially the customer service the afghani worker was soo nice but the asian guy at cashier was worst may be he is the owner, dont knw the importance of customer front of customer asking worker not to make it good not to put fries for poutine put less just bcoz customer about the detailing of the product.
This restaurant to begin with was really neat and organized. Employes are very friendly with customers and prices are affordable. They have nice proportions which can be shared with friends. Overall a clean environment . Would recommend visiting and I would definitely visit again
Horrible Service at STC villa Madina locations, will never visit again.Very bad attitude by the rep, very less qty, no rice, small pita bread
The best spot in the mall, they’re so generous and their food is absolutely amazing! Always fresh, great customer service and very kind people working the place! Most definitely recommend :)
Customer Service: 5/5. The guy handling our order (I forgot to ask for his name) was very cooperative, efficient, and kind.Portion Size: 3/5. It was 10 dollars for a large shawarma. It felt as large as any other shawarma. It was a bit priceyTaste: 4/5. Solid tasting shawarma on a toasted pita. The sauce didn't overpower the other tastes. The vegetables were fresh and crisp. The chicken could've used a bit more seasoning.
