Add slices of raw beef and this is great for the priceHouse special noodle soup small $10.99A mix of different beef items, beef soup and the veggie condiments, this is pretty good for the value.Seafood glass noodle soup small $9.99While they were out of stock of glass noodles, the regular rice noodles are good as well. A variety of seafood plus a Vietnamese style ham.Round up for price to portion. It's reasonable, filling and decent. Worth the visit for those budget conscious.Remember to tip. It's Not included in the bill. I'm sure the server's make minimum here considering the price is pretty cheap.
I visited yesterday for a quick, casual dinner. Service was quick and efficient. I ordered the House special, small size and the fried spring rolls. The Pho was really good and pretty filling. Generous portion and great price compared to other places I visited in North York. I have eaten at this place in the past on three other occasions. Highly recommend. One waitress was intuitive; when I was thinking of asking for another napkin, she passed by, noticed and slipped a few extra to me without me having to ask. This is how good the service is.
I’ve been to this location for probably 25yrs. Witnessed them expand, battle infestations, and the server aunties’ personal development. One specific server aunty, when she started she used to scream orders. Now after decades, she’s more reserved but she still has a grumpy attitude. Just a homey feeling I guess. Comfort food is good as usual. Love their special beef pho noodles and grilled pork neck. My go to place in Scarborough!
My family has vegans and vegetarians and it seems that we usually have a tough time finding a place we can all eat at, but this place worked nicely. Vegetable fried rice and a few other vegan options. My brother had a pork dish he liked so that worked for him. Service was good and friendly.
I'm not Vietnamese but I've been to a number of Pho restaurants on the east side so I can definitely say its one of the better places that I've been to. I ordered a large house special and was amazed at the amount of toppings that they give you. The bowl might not be the largest but its definitely hearty, topping-wise. The rice dishes are decent as well (sampled the pork chop, chicken and shrimp) so no complaints there. Overall, it's worth a visit.
Never disappoints. Have been coming here since I was young and we always order pho. Very consistent in terms of taste, quality and quantity. I love that the meat is soft unlike some places where the meat becomes too chewy. Have yet to try other dishes, as the price for appetizers such as the shrimp rolls (2 pieces) is quite high compared to others that give 4 pieces. But overall, great place for a quick bite.
A legacy pho restaurant in Scarborough. Food has been consistent since it first opened. Staff are friendly and service is quick. The menu can be overwhelming, so I normally just get the special pho and spring rolls. Pineapple fried rice is also a very popular item.
Bought dinner set B and H. Foods are tasty and price are fair even there wa extra 2 dollars charge for take out. Will go there again!
I was really surprised and upset with so many negative comments and postings for this restaurant. I frequented this pho place for many years including during the pandemic outdoor dining. I never had any takeout so I do not want to comment on this part!Overall I rate this restaurant a five stars!! Aside from my personal experience, I bring occasionally also friends and family. Everytime I find the food, prices, waitresses are all super good. Am I the lucky one so many times or the unlucky ones expectations for a fast paced food joint far exceeds their desire to have a decent pho meal, fair prices menu and mostly underpaid servers!!??? Pay a decent tips to the people who are frontline workers risking their health, their families health to try to make a living. Help yourself and stop being negative!! Spread kindness and you will be rewarded. ?????
One of my favourite places to have pho. Been coming here for many years and will continue to.Staff here are friendly and service is quick and efficient. As far as ordering goes, they will provide you with a pen and paper to jot down your order (item number and special requests) The orders always come out perfectly, no onions in pho just like I requested.Pho (w/ cooked beef + beef balls) - The pho comes with fresh noodles(I prefer fresh over dry noodles) they give a decent amount of meat here. Soup is normal tasting a bit on the bland side and from my past experiences sometimes the soup comes really hot and sometimes it comes really warm. So for the raw beef eaters, be aware of that.Grilled pork neck(snack size) - This is actually what I draws me here time and time again. It's grilled to perfection everytime. The pork has a light sweet glaze on it and marinade is tasty. I highly recommend this dish.One of my go to places for quick delicious meal.
