Must try.Delicious food and its more fun when we go in groups.Love cajun seasoning medium spicy.Calamari for starters is a must try.Everything we tried was soo good, we have already been back to Captain boils multiple times.Lovely customer service, decent ambience, neat washrooms.Will definitely recommend.
Great place for saucy seafood!Beware, it might get messy so don't get too dressy, ask for gloves and bib and chow down!Don't over order cause these bags can really fill you up!Check their board for their market prices.Service was good. Dining room was spaciousUnfortunately they didn't have any beer on tap.
They have a new policy where you can only order one combo per table. Such a terrible change. We use to be able to order a few of their Sailor's Seafood Feast. Never coming back after tonight...

The 1lb of Clam also came with 2 sides, and we chose Corn for it! We got the Captain’s Boil sauce in Medium spice level for both, it was so delicious! Can never get enough of their sauce, the Seafood was fresh, Fries were crispy, and the Fried Rice was AMAZING!
Located off the south side Sheppard Avenue East in a small lot, this Captain's Boil franchise has done very well maintaining the spirit of the franchise in its decor and delivery of the menu. Came here for a birthday dinner and ordered the shrimp, mussels, snow crab legs, calamari, cajun fries and one lobster. Keep in mind this all happened the week after dine-in was allowed back in Ontario and we had some worries that perhaps the food might not be at top notch levels. Boy, we were very happy to be proven wrong! Everything showed up and it was FRESH, FLAVOURFUL and served with a great smile from the staff. Super happy with the attention to detail and the constant service from the wait staff. Prices were above average but when you consider the quality and amount, it was fair given what was ordered. Accepts credit and debit - not sure about cash at the time of review due to Covid. Highly recommended and will definitely come back!

I took my friend here for a birthday lunch recently and boy was that not a good idea! The restaurant was quiet and sort of clean ( there were weird splashes of food on the TV screen by us). The service was also good and the employers tried hard however management needs to do better. We were given no plates to eat, when we asked for them we were told they were all our of paper plates. What does that mean? Paper plates to eat out food why? We were eventually given metal army issued plates when we insisted. We were given no cutlery and had to ask for a fork!!! I am not sure what is going on at this location but the food wasn't even as flavourful as other locations. Very disappointed that they would open this restaurant for dine in yet not provide the tools to enjoy your meal. My poor friend barely enjoyed her bday lunch
Impressed back then, impressed now as well. The last time I came here was before the pandemic and I loved the atmosphere & food. The restaurant was lively and the staff were friendly. The foof was delicious, which is all true today as well.I recently visited and the staff were super friendly. I felt bad for them because a customer who tried entering before us did not have their vaccine certificate and attempted to make the staff download it for them. The staff handled it well. They said they aren't allowed to do that, then sent them away, and told them to come back with it printed or on their phone. Overall, they were professional and friendly.The food was on par as per usual, however just a forewarning that king crab is expensive around this time of year (October) due to seasonal prices.I would definitely recommend coming here for a family dinner, a fun date (if you've been with each other for a while, garlic date isn't hot on the first date lol), or with friends!
Got a piece of paper in the food bag with snow crab legs, not in between two bags, but inside the food. Followed up with the manager, they offered $10 off for the next order, but mind that I had to discard the full bag. I sent pictures to their corporate email, they never got back to me, so I guess I will post them here.
I love seafood. Captain’s Boil is my go to. My all time favourite is their Cajun shrimp with two sides, medium spicy. This time I ordered 1lb mix and match shrimp and clams, Cajun flavour, medium spicy. Two sides were corn and steamed rice. Very yummy as always. You’ll pay the market price for the seafood. I’d say moderately reasonable price. Staffs were friendly. Enough space inside, they have a patio and big parking lot. However the paper bibs kept ripping.
