My family love this place. My cousin Neeta P, took us over here for dinner and it was much much better than expected. It was the highlight of our vacation in Canada coming from the USA. Extremely large platers with wings, fish and assortments of seafood items. Very large fried rice portions and other sides. The price to feed a family of 6 adults and 5 kids was only $225 with tips. This included alcohol and other drinks. Very tasty trini style food but unique to The Avenue!
Great apps and food, especially when you're feeling snacky (wings, pepper shrimp and fish AND poutine is a must try)! Food is served hot and delicious. Staff are attentive and genuinely friendly. Mosdef recommended!
The pepper fish was delicious. The macaroni pie was good but it had a sweet taste and generally speaking I don't like sweet flavours. Either way I'd go back for the fish By cay.
A surprise experience. I recently found The Avenue, a newly expanded and renovated Caribbean cuisine restaurant. The experience and hospitality was beyond expected in every way. From the planning, following up to the day of service, Brandon and his team made us all feel important from the time we arrived down to the last person that left. By the time we got to appetizers everyone was sold and the rest of the night was just a bonus. Thank you for making my wife's 40th and her father's 90th an experience to remember. We look forward to sharing this kind of experience with our circle of friends.
Food is very appetizing. Well worth trying and the prices aren't bad either.
Food always tastes fresh and delicious no matter how late I grab it! I used to grab my food from Caribbean Heat but Avenue is my new go-to restaurant for delicious Caribbean food.
This place has really good food options and are open late night. Quick service, Chris made sure we were well taken care off. Good portion sizes and the food was fresh. Will visit again!
Great atmosphere, service was attentive and great. The pepper shrimp is definitely a must order item. There could have been more fried rice with the fried chicken and the beef with vegetables was very plain.
Got the Chilli Chicken on Vegetable fried rice and honestly the chicken had 90%fat and 10%meat, mostly chewy. Rice looks and tastes super dry and no flavor. Took a couple of bites and couldn't eat the rest.. what a waste of 15$.
The appetizer platter! We usually get the pepper shrimp, calamari & wings. Wantons are also a favourite. & the fried rice .. & the, you know what just try anything you won’t be disappointed. Customer service excellent⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
