I placed a order on skip for 2 meals …Waited about a hour and a half so I complained to skip .. turns out that swiss chalet ran outta crispy chicken .. so instead of the restaurant calling me and asking what I would like as a replacement they sent the sides to that combo ( fries and soup) …. ?So now I’m sitting here with a side of fries and soup for supper !! Who does that?! What kind of customer service is that? I’m very disappointed in this restaurant and I’ll be thinking twice about ordering from them again seeing that the customer service is very poor, maybe it’s time to rethink your staff or have customer service classes.. as you can tell I’m very mad about this.,The funny thing is that this would have made 2 days in a row ordering from them both times $50+Thanks Swiss Chalet you lost a loyal customer.
Overall a great location. When they are busy the staff can be distracted and forget to put your meal together properly. Its ok when your dining in but when your picking up it can be annoying to go back and forth.
Had to wait about 30 min to get my order. The employees were more concerned about the number of ppl in the take out area then actually completing orders so people can leave. If your actually worried about spreading Covid why not pump out orders faster so the take out area is less crowded. Telling seniors to wait outside in the cold is not good business practice
They were very friendly and efficiant. Didnt wait long for my take out order. Food was good except for the soggy fries..which every SC has it was excellent
You always have to wait a long time. 80% of the time they forget to put everything you ordered in the bag. Yesterday they forgot my extra condiments I asked for (again). Also I asked for 2 orders of wings with honey garlic sauce on the side. Once I got home and opened the box of wings it was marked on the inside with marker saying "no sauce". I also ordered a salad on the side and once I opened the container the lettuce was all shredded so thin (almost as if they ran out of regular salad lettuce that I've been always getting and used the harveys burgers lettuce because the stores are combined). Triple check your bags before leaving
Utter incompetence. They could not possibly have gotten my order more wrong. You deserve better in life than to waste your time paying for something you'll never receive.
I ordered online a few days ago and when I picked up my order the receipt staff handed me, had my name on it- after arriving at home and opening the bag I discovered that it was the wrong order- had to drive back to the store and got no apology just a " Oh you picked up the wrong order"- was given my order but a baked potato I paid for was missing- NEVER EVER COMING BACK TO THIS STORE- and here is a message to the Manager: Sir I am taking this to your head office with a hefty complaint- you are running a disgraceful operation!!!
Nice server but she was so busy got the festive special which was really good. My mom got chicken wings and they were terrible. Hard crusty and unseasoned. Seems they changed to breaded wings and they are terrible it’s a shame because they used to be so good. We complained but only got a free slice of pie. Also cream was old and curdled in moms coffee the sever did change that.
The chicken we ordered were very satisfactory and we will keep coming back. However, we noticed that only 1 server was available serving about 10 tables. Nonetheless, Kim, the server, was so nice, hard-working individual, approachable and sociable that we think she deserves a raise. We hope she gets a just recognition for her hard work.
I did an online order at 3:30 in the afternoon for pick up at 6. When I got there I had to wait another 20 minutes until I got my order and it wasn’t that busy. When I got home I was missing a meal. Had to get back into my car and head back to the restaurant. After complaining to the staff, all they said to me was if I wanted a $4 pie for all my troubles. What a joke. So much for customer service. Too bad I can’t rate lower than 1 star.
