Had a really big order for a family breakfast. Staff was friendly and patiently took customized orders. Food was delicious. Everything was affordable. Love this place.

We went for the first time on Father's day for breakfast, went early, no wait time. Place was clean and decent. Our server was really nice, very patient. The downside was that she seemed to be manning a large amount of tables at once, like she was the only one on shift. We had ordered our meals but a table that was seated after us, had gotten their meals and they had more people in there party. Once we were done our meals, we had to ask another waitress to flag ours for payment. We sat for about 15, maybe 20mins and she never came. I decided to head to the cash counter,where I was told the waitresses don't procees payment at the tables. We were told never told this and the 2nd waitress knew we wanted to pay andbshe never said anything. Before paying, got the receipt and the orders were incorrect. It was double of everything. It was 4 adults and 2 kids. I had to wait a bit and reiterate exactly what was order food and drinks. Paid ans we left. I may consider going again but it maybe a while.
Sunset Grill is so much more than just breakfast food! Came for a late lunch with a craving so I customised my own burger and packed it with all the good stuff in a brioche bun. Seriously, best burger I've ever had - and trust me, I've had many, including the infamous Burger Priest downtown! If you have a burger craving in Scarborough, better to come down to Sunset Grill instead of the fast food chains. Massive compliments to the Chef Dante. The server Charlotte was also attentive to my requests and even stayed behind past closing time even though I came in a bit late that day. Very kind of her!
Fresh filling hot breakfast that does not disappoint. Each time my family goes there we are always seated quickly. Service is kind and always checking up on us. Coffee is topped up multiple times and food arrives quick. Everything is good, but the french toast is my favorite. Vanilla buttery goodness...
I like to go to different Sunset Grills to see what they’re like. I’ve been to the one at Vic Park & Lawrence and it was awesome. This location is just as awesome; Nicole is attentive and the cook is friendly. Funny how when I told Nicole I went to the other location, she told me Charlotte works at this location too! Whoever owns these locations are very fortunate to have servers like them who genuinely care for us.
Food great. Friendly staffs. Only one thing It threw me off. This place kitchen located right in front of you Lol kitchen workers you can see them how they handle the food. Its not like other restaurant where you don't get to witness the process of the food. Kitchen workers not wearing gloves at all like omg all I saw one of the guy in the kitchen was grabbing that egg and bacon with his bare hands and moving it onto a container not only that the oil was dripping all over his hand and all i saw was him wiping it off on his jeans, i couldn't believe it. Imagine where else that hands went thru Lol. I'm pretty sure you can fix this issues because trust me i'm going to come back here til one day i witness them wearing gloves.
nicole, is one of the friendliest servers and always such a delight to speak to, if only they had servers like her at every food establishment. The fact that she is so personable with each of the customers is amazing. Nicole and the kitchen staff really make the whole experience great each time i visit.
