Hidden gem! The owners are very nice! The food was great! Authentic korean dish to enjoy. Simply kitchen is a must try!

The bulgogi, bibimbap, and dukbokki were delicious! Looks like we found our new go-to Korean takeout joint.

The food was so delicious and so worth the price!! I tried the Yukgaejang (spicy beef soup with vegetables), the dish came with purple rice which I loved the most!!! And a side dish of noodles and kimchi!! I even had leftovers for tomorrow, portion and pricing was spot on :)

Homemade Korean is amazing comfort food and this place is just that. Fresh ingredients, great price and taste!

I have been a customer for a couple of months. I must say the food is delicious. My favorite is spicy chicken served with rice. I request them to add noodles too and they add it on the side. The kitchen looks clean and provides a homely feeling. I sometimes order over phone and pick it up later. Service is also very good. Will definitely recommend.

No need to go Korea town(y and finch/too far from scarborough) to take out Korea food( gamjatang )anymore. And i love healthy multigtain rice(normally it extra charges $3.50 in other Korea restaurant ) and tasty side dishes!!! I love it !! ? and price is reasonable too ???

Try the pork bone soup, it’s very delicious as well as the Korean Ramen.

Ordered spicy tofu soup in veggie version today and it was tasty. Instead of just taking off the meat they put extra veggie too. Very convenient to order and service was nice. Happy to see there is a Korean cuisine right besides my place.

A hidden gem! Wife and I found out today that the Simply Kitchen restaurant is now owned by a Korean family living in Lee Centre Drive and is serving Korean food. So we gave it a try and we are stunned. With friendly hospitality, serving up amazing authentic Korean food. I come from a family of restaurant owners in Korea and the quality of the food Simply Kitchen are serving is something you find in great restaurants in Korea. I heavily recommend this place.

I expected a higher standard of quality for a mom and pop shop. The last owners had great food and I expected the new menu to be relatively the same but I was sorely disappointed with how diluted and lacking the two gamjatangs I ordered were. The stew was more water then flavor, it lacked spices/salt and the three pork bones weren't salted either it was just fat and meat sitting in lukewarm water with a slice of chili and a sprinkle of gojuchang. The kimchi included were lacking flavor and it tasted like fresh cabbage tossed in the spices paste then served immediately, the one saving grace is the rice being perfectly cooked.
