OMG it was so GOOOOD. Everything freshly prepared dosas to the coconut chutney was PERFECT. They have nailed the South Indian buffet meal in the vicinity. If you’re going for the first time, don’t take the same plate for seconds, get a new one :)Pro tip: if you’re going on weekends, go at 11:45-12:00 for lunch. Almost no wait time.
One of the best places in the GTA to try authentic south Indian food. If you like to have the genuine south Indian taste definitely go here but if you are looking for the presentation and plating to be perfect then head elsewhere.The restaurant is spacious and the interiors are pretty charming. The staff are helpful and well trained.You can get a la carte or lunch /dinner buffet here.Buffet are for Fri -Sat and Sun .Tip: The place gets really busy and wait time can go very long. So, visit by 12 noon for the weekend buffet.
My son n daughter in-law took me Sravana Bhavan at Scarborough, Toronto on Friday for lunch buffet on Friday 15 April, 2022 It was Vishu, the Tamilian New year day on 14 April there was special buffet on both 14, n 15 April . Though the venue is spacious inside, the crowd inside is jam packed n makes it look like a small place,Another reason was a movie complex next to it is running 2 block buster movies Beast n KGF2 ,it being long weekend, people waiting in long queues to get a table, we booked a table while driving few minutes from son's house in Richmond hill, Toronto, they said we have to wait for an hour ,it was already 1 pm, we decided to wait, finally we got a call few minutes to 2 pm n got a table, there were many not less than 20 , two types of coconut chutneys, hot vadas, sambhar, chana, brinjal,cabbage palyas, raitha, bisibele bath, pulav, cosa, puri served at the table, The best finger licking items were keasri both with pineapple pieces, n avial, each item had authentic south Indian tastes, I bet I haven't eaten such a tasty food even in Bangalore, Karnataka state . I thoroughly enjoyed my favorite south Indian food, I strongly recommend this place for every Indian visiting Canada to must visit place on their list..My daughter in-law says coffee is best here, I was full to my throat so couldn't have coffee.?? I wanted to give 5 * stars but giving 4* cos too much crowd n too less space to walk around freely, for food I give 5*
The staff is great and the young student staff is so helpful. We ordered more than we could eat but it was so delicious. My favourite is the dosa ravi... Yummy
“Lovely” experience! The best place so far where I have experienced authentic south Indian food in Canada.I found that the presentation could have been better, but if food is good, I am sorted.Service at the table was ok. Staff who served was not at all interactive or friendly.lot of room for improvement there. Other than that experience was good!Will go back again and hope for better serving staff who can attend us.
Totally sucked !!! Served me spoilt paneer rawa dosa... Totally tasteless food not at all authentic.... if I had the option to give 0 stars I would have!!! Unfortunately food ended up in Dustin as it wasn't safe to consume!
Best South Indian restaurant. They have the lots of dishes we ordered the dosa and idli and both are so delicious. Upset with the service little bit because all the food doesn’t came at same time they bring the food which is ready first that doesn’t make sense if you go out for dine in together.
Food quality at it's best. Only missing thing is more items for brunch.
Very tasty food and friendly staff. I have to say I don't understand the bad reviews. The staff are very friendly, the food is fresh and tasty with healthy portions (way too much for me!). The thali lunch would almost feed two people in my opinion. The guidance around COVID protocols is super clear and presented in an easy to understand format. This team seems to get it right under some tough conditions. Am looking forward to try some other dishes on my next visit. Great job all!
went here twice. one time for the buffet and the other for al-carte. service was quick. quality of food was good. staff was friendly. apple seating and parking facility.
