Staff do not even have etiquettes to talk to customer. I wanted to make an order for 40 people and i asked them to taste a little bit of Dhokhla before making a catering order. They directly denied and asked to buy and taste. Thats totally rubbish for new customers. Also i asked i wanted to pre-order for my party, they said we dnt take pre orders, just come on that day only and take. When i went and asked for 30 Roti they said we have only 20. I will prefer to go to some other restaurant now onwards and will recommend my friends not to prefer Samosa king in future.

Got 400 samosas for a small party. The veggie samosas were really good and made fresh. Please give yourself time and expect a long waiting line even if you ordered ahead over the phone.Customer service isn’t a big deal since it is mostly a take away. Also their sweet boxes look really good. Will try their sweets some day.

Thay have snack sized samosas.\\nCost : 1 dollar for 4 samosas\\nI liked the samosas.\\nAlso tried tea but taste was not good.\\nMany other snacks and sweets also available.

I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone. They have very poor customer service and very rude employees. I called them and ordered samosas and I went to pick up for church, the guy at the cashier without giving me food he told me to exit the door and wait in line without listening to what I was saying. You never tell your customers to exit the door when someone comes to purchase something. Your not qualified to have a store in this country. This is not the way you treat customers in Canada.

My aunt recommended that Samosa King's Gulab Jamuns are tasty. You will not believe this. It was the first time I had tried Gulab Jamun in my life. We got 2lbs of Gulab Jamuns. I got 9 Gulab Jamuns for 1lbs. They were so tasty. Thank you so much:)

saw some reviews and went here. pleasantly surprised for the number of people who stay on the long lines for this food. there are sweets and chaat and also food counter. haven’t tried the food but saw that it was cheap.. ordered some samosas and dad’s and pakoras. all were good. Pretty warm even though it was not made to order. They keep making items as there is always crowd. Service can be little quick. more staff required.

I ordered food at Samosa King (Embassy Restaurant) and paid by debit card. The cashier said the total was $48.55 and charged $48.55 to my debit card. The cashier only provided debit card payment receipt printed by the payment terminal, which stated the amount paid was $48.55. Later, I insisted on getting the itemised bill printed by the point of sale (POS) machine. Upon my insistance, the cashier provided the POS receipt which stated the true total of food purchased and HST to be $48.54! Samosa King had just cheated me of $1 cent! Upon protesting, the cashier refused to credit (i.e., payback) the extra $1 cent to my bank via Visa (since I paid by Visa debit). Instead the cashier gave me $1 cent USA coin and insisted several times that it was $1 cent Canada coin. Upon further protesting, the cashier finally gave me $1 cent Canada coin. I am now left with a single Canadian $1 cent coin which is difficult to use as most Canadian businesses don't accept pennies and it is also difficult to deposit the single $1 cent coin into the bank. You may think it is just $1 cent, but if Samosa King continues cheating several cents from each of the thousands of customers on a daily basis, Samosa King would of have cheated a ton of money by the end of the year. Samosa King continues to cheat as their payment terminal is not linked to their POS machine. Hence, the amount payable is manually entered by staff into the payment terminal, where the staff tend to overcharge the unsuspecting customers. Most of the customers also do not bother asking for POS receipt (i.e., itemised bill). Customers must always hold businesses accountable by always exercising their right to ask for POS receipt after each transaction.

Known for its economical samosas and various other indian foods, i visited here. It was much hyped as the samosas were bland and were too spicy. samosas should be made neutral with an option for the eater to add spice or sweetness with chutneys but it seemed these samosa were sprinkled with chilli powder. next comes other indian curries and breads. we tried few non vegetarian and vegetarian food items. taste is ok but the quantity is too low, either u increase the price and provide sufficient quantity but dont say that price is low and provide were small quantity, basically the price is low and quantity is less. the large quantity there is a minimum requirement for a low appetite person but for a person with big appetite should need double large quantity. It is a normal one time visit shop. Parking is available nearby. PLEASE NOTE: Only Debit cards or Cash is acceptable here

Tried samosas and spring rolls from this place at such an affordable price. They have snack sized Samosas -4 samosas for $1. And 4 spring rolls for $1.Spring rolls were good. For samosa the filling tasted ok ok but not bad for the deal they are giving.
