I haven't been to this spot in maybe 10 years, but my daughter suggested it for lunch. Exactly the sort of comforting menu you might expect from this sort of establishment - I ordered the sausage scrambler and my daughter had a cheeseburger... neither of us was disappointed with the food to say nothing of our server, whom I think said she was known as the firecracker? Delightful. Oh, and, the bill will not dig too deeply into your bank account, so that's not a bad thing. Definitely would recommend!
Now this is a little hidden gem. The food....the prices....the service was excellent. We had the all day breakfast and seriously yummy and filling. Real hash browns....nice and crispy in on the outsideMy wife had a scrambled platter. Ashley rocked it hard and with a smile....love it and we will be back....thank you!
Wanted french onion it was on the menu, but was not available. Ordered tomatoe maccorni soup, which was 4.00 and probably 4 oz. Steak on a bun was tough and 2 out of 6 ounces were fat and grizzle. Veal on a bun was not much better. Terrible presentation will not be returning. For the money I paid, could have gone to a much better restaurant with some presentation, and higher quality food.
Very impressed with the service of Sammy’s Family Restaurant. Got our food within 10 minutes of getting to the place.Never been here before, but would definitely go back for breakfast! I was surprised to see how busy the place was, I guess it just shows how great the restaurant is!
Excellent & pleasant service. Food was delicious ,staff was caring ,& polite. Extremely busy yet they quick & accurate with our orders .?
It's hard to find the right words but I just want to say that the staff are great, quick it's got a sense of community and the food is simple wholesome and a good variety and the prices are unheard of these days and really at value for money Can highly recommend them. I particularly used to like getting a breakfast on the run which is anytime of the day I really can't say enough about the the crew and chef at Sammy's. It's becoming institution. Enjoy
Great family-owned diner. Prices are very reasonable. Portions are very generous. Very good food. One meal here and you won't need to eat for the rest of the day!
I stumbled upon this little restaurant totally by accident but I'll definitely be back. I was curious when I saw liver and onions as one of their specials. Anyone who loves this dish knows how hard it is to find a place that knows how to make this well. Although I like mine slightly breaded this place doesn't. I still thought it was quite tasty. I was actually quite surprised at how many people ordered it while we were there. Great price and good food. I totally recommend!
Recently went with a friend for lunch. We ended up getting their all day breakfast. Welcomed nicely and clean family type restaurant .. Breakfast was very good and filling, definitely worth the price. Waitress was nice but not overly attentive. Maybe busy? I will definitely go again and eat :)
The waitress was amazing. The service was fast. The soup of the day was great, the garlic bread was good. The vegetables were bland, the 6 oz steak seemed so small and thin, and was bland too. They only thing great in that plate was the fries. It was fries that was very soft and big like how fries used to be at restaurants 20 years ago.If I come back I will avoid the steak and try something different. I am curious to try their breakfast one of these days.
