Service/price is pretty good, place is clean, but taste is just okay.We order takeout and the ~$50 order is ready in 30 mins. Considering the dinner rush, I'm happy with that. Don't expect amazing our even good taste. All the rolls taste similar, wasabi is weak, soy sauce is dark salt water, but the fortune cookies are nice. Previously, combos with drinks included a soda can. Now it's a flat fountain drink, probably to save money. Skip the drink. Despite this, it's good enough to appease our sushi craving, so we come back almost every month.Pro tip: get a menu, call/order takeout, pick combos for best value, pay cash, skip included drink. Go to a grocery store, buy wasabi, soy sauce (they last longer and taste way better) and a 2L soda.

Went for AYCE lunch on Friday..I don't know what happened to the Maki but I could tell that they used regular rice and not sushi rice to make the Maki rolls. The rice was hard, and falling off the nori. The hot food was good. However, The portions we ordered for chicken servings were literally like two to three pieces of chicken.I ordered miso and it tasted like water. We attempted to get our waiters attention for the bill but no one would pop by despite there only being one other party in the restaurant. I eventually got up to let them know we were ready and we just paid at the front. It was an okay experience and I typically like their food. I just feel like they were having an off day.

While the sushi is quite good, I think the staff try to pocket some change! If you pay cash, you get 10% off. Not sure about dine-in, but when you order take out, they round out a $18.30 bill to $19! Over a number of orders that works out to quite a few $$ in the cashier's pocket! Instead of asking if you are paying cash before telling you the total, the cashier will say $20 and thn YOU have to ask what about the discount, then she gives you that $1 back! It's not a large sum but it's the principle of it!

My husband and I walked into sail sushi today. There was one person at the front desk and only 2 people in the restaurant at one table. When we walked in, we said hi to the lady at the front desk and she said hi back without looking at us and played around with her iPad for so long. We were waiting for her to seat us but she didn’t so we walked out and went to dragon rolls in Pickering. I will never go back to sail sushi.

There is no segregation here! And on top of it, if you don't like sushi they have many other options! Their sushi is so good and the service is very welcoming. Always an amazing time each visit ??.Thank you sail sushi for providing good food and a great atmosphere.

I'm Guessing the brought down their pricing as to my surprise it was $24 on a Saturday for all you can eat. I loved the food and loved the fact that they don't push the segregation pass. Food came pretty quick.

I used to love this place. I used to spend about $250/month here but no more!! This is the second time I had to drive back from Pickering as parts of my order was missing. On my return the cashier argued with me about what I ordered and getting upset with me but I am the one who just spent $72 at her business and I can not get what I ordered. You have lost a valuable customer and I will not go back there again. The onus is on me to prove what I ordered!! No one is writing down anything or handing a printout of your order to the kitchen. My tip for the rest of you is to look into your bag before you pay for your order or have them tell you what is inside the bags item by item before you pay for it. Don't get home with the bad surprise that I did that I didn't get what I paid for. I had sent so many friends and family to this location as well and now I have to retract my praise of your business.

This is the best food I've had since moving to Scarborough last year. The texture of the rice is perfect, the fish is tasty, and the appetizers are to die for. The restaurant looks shabby but they make up for it in the quality of food and the attentive staff ?.There is a huge selection of items too so there's something for everyone. Will definitely come back :3 .

I have come to this restaurant several times and experienced no issues, however the last time I came, the experience was horrible. Not only did the server set a bad impression from the start, but as we were eating, I heard the sound of clipping nails at the front desk, to which the server was sitting at. To be doing such a thing in a dine-in environment, while people are eating, is disgusting and mindless. Firstly, upon taking my temperature, the result was 36C. The hostess gave me a look and said "why is it so high?" in a rude voice. After explaining that it had been a hot day and that I had come from a warm temperature vehicle, the hostess was reluctant to let me sit inside. I was appalled, because that temperature was not even considered high in terms of COVID standards. That set the stage for the rest of the visit, as every time the server came to deliver food, they would stand as far away from me as humanly possible. Certainly not going back.

Veg sushi was good... not great but good. However, the sauces and miso was great.*ordered take-out so no review regarding the service
