Dropped in for lunch on a Saturday, the place is straight forward for eating delicious food at great value. Staff were polite and provided us menus promptly, not many items which is usually a good thing. Ordered the t-bone steak which was excellent both in quality and value. Would go back again
When I visited this place 3 years ago the food was ok. Today I was in the area with my family and I wanted them to try it. The quality of the food was not very good. The steak and chicken were paper thin. The lentil soup has no taste of lentil at all. The juice has lots of water and sugar added to it, I couldn't even tell what was the flavor. When I asked the waiter why the lentil soup has no lentils, she just turned her back and walked away without saying a word. I will not go there any more for sure.
Went to this restaurant with our Bearys family after a nice badminton tournament for lunch. Such an amazing restaurant. The food was delicious. A big Thank you to brother Mahmood for serving us. We really appreciate your hospitality. The staffs were awesome and friendly. Definitely recommend this place to everyone.
We had booked this place for a small gathering for about 30 people and really the way Mr. Mahmood treated us with exceptional customer service skill. Hats off to all the other staff who served us and made our dining experience worth every penny.Wow! The lamb was so tender. T-bone stake, chicken and beef stew was awesome. The rice was very delicious and the chicken was well marinated and was great!! Loved the flavors. I will for sure come back. Highly recommend!!Kudos to Sahan restaurant Team
Felt like taking it back to Africa, East Africa that is with this nice Somalian restaurant ??. Waitresses were very friendly and recommended the Goat meal (comes with plantain soup and juice). I also felt like trying the Somali Milk cake for dessert and thank God I did. The cake was delicious and not too sweet either. Large food portions, had to take a bit of my dinner to go which was good. I would love to come back here.

I have a friend from Somalian origin and we go out to try different foods. This is one of the best restaurant I have ever visited. I ordered chicken cube pieces on half rice and half pasta with onions and it’s simply superb. The owner is very polite and friendly. All the waitresses did amazing job. Next time I have to take my wife to this restaurant.
I got the lamb dish and milk cake. It was absolutely delicious. The lamb was soft and tasty. The portions were large. It came with mango juice and lentil soup which were both great.The milk cake was expensive but so delicious and I highly recommend it. It is sweet, light, and the perfect dessert to cap off the meal.The service is curt but quick. The place looks simple and spacious. Overall, I would recommend this place.
One of the best Somali food restaurants in scarborough . The food was so yummy and fresh. I loved the mango juice!! Customer service was on top , Pretty much everything was amazing. Thnks alot. The rice that came with the dish was surprisingly tasty and well balanced with the meat. Glad i had a great experience, Hope to see you again, soon!♥️
