If I could give zero stars I would, they don't even deserve 1 star. I ordered a mutton kothu rotti and it was spoiled. I went back to return it and the owners were very rude. They came over the counter and tried to fight me. I filed a report with the police and these very unprofessional and violent people should be hearing from the Toronto Police Department soon. I cannot believe how violent and unprofessional these people were. I am NEVER going there back again. Their food is NASTY and the man who works in the kitchen, they lady at the front, another young lady working there, and a young man, all become violent and aggressive. These people should be in jail, the food they serve is CRIMINALLY DISGUSTING and their VIOLENT behavior and HORRIBLE sense of professionalism matches their DISGUSTING food.
Worst Customer service ever seen in my life.The old guy showed finger to a customer to go out from the restaurant. He is very rude and don't know how to talk with the customer.He don't have patience at all. I visited this restaurant on my friend reference. But had a very bad experience. Never go back again.Best of luck to the owner. He is loosing many of like this because of that old employee.
The thosai is good value for the money. I'd recommend it. I would also recommend the shrimps. The weekend special, Lamprice, is over priced. Can get a better deal on lamprice elsewhere. I found the price of most items to be a bit on the higher side, in comparison to my usual take out place, but the food tastes really good. Hence why I come here, even though it's a bit pricier.
Wish I could give ZERO Stars, DO NOT Waste your money in this store.Bought 2 Lamb Rice packages For$38! The Rice SMELLED very BAD/HORRIBLE that we ended up throwing it. DISgusting!! Cost is very High.Total waste of my money,I shall never order this item and NOT Recommend any one to purchase It!!!
Their short eats are ok. Vada, vege roti are my fav. Dissapointed with the fish cutlet. Vege samosa is just fine. Patty curry is too spicy.
Extremely poor customer service and bad food. I had been their regular customer for two years until October 2021. I used to buy snacks every week. About a year ago, I bought Beetroot stir-fry from them which started tasting bad and giving away a foul smell on the second day itself. I had a feeling that the food was a few days old. Therefore I did not buy any curry /side dish from them for almost a year. In October, I bought Mutton and Potato curry from them. The food was in the freezer for two days and on the third day, I used both the Mutton and Potato curry. By then though it was in the freezer, it had started emitting a bad smell. I had a bad stomach for a couple of days after having both the side dish. I threw away both immediately. I was so upset that I wasted money.The next week I went there as usual and informed them about my experience. To my shock, the guy started yelling at me at once. He said that they did not sell old food there. (The truth was that I did not tell them that they sold old food to me. Lol...That means he knew that they sell stale food). Then his mother came and both of them started yelling at me. She said that she did not know me and that I was not a regular customer. ( As I mentioned earlier, I had been their regular customer for two years. Besides, does it give them any right to sell me stale food if it was my first time??) Both of them yelled at me for some time. They told me that they sell only fresh food and that I should have eaten the food on the same day I bought it bcoz the next day their 'Fresh' food would go bad even if it was in the fridge...Lol... I could not believe their stupidity and arrogance. I had never experienced such bad customer service in Canada. They still behave the same way to the customers as they do back home. They told me to buy food from some other restaurant which I had already decided. Anyway, I have reported them to Toronto Public Health. I would never go there again. I never expected this kind of rude response since I was a regular customer.I later came to know that end of the day while other restaurants throw away the unsold food, these people put it back in the fridge and reheat it the next day until they fully sell it out. That means the customers are getting the stale food, not the fresh one...that's why the food goes bad from the second day.
This restaurant very poor customer service restaurant it’s undesirable for even one star review because the old guy who is working thereHe need to learn about what is the customer service and how to talk with customers.It’s a Sri Lankan tamil restaurant but every tamil person have good manners at least for their society but he doesn’tWe are not animals we have respect and pay money for food not free we have a rights to ask questions about what we like to buy.
Very delicious and spicy food. Lots of selections. Loved the peanuts snack bag. Glasses need to be cleaned though.
Really bad customer service. when i call for steinghopper she said come right away. I want there with in 5 minutes she said it's all gone we don't hold for anyone and she was so rude about it. I am a regular customer to this place. Never again to this discusting place.
These beautifully made and O-So delicious freshly made donuts filled and bursting with flavor is beyond words.I got a free donut today for being Covic Vaccinated even though the "daily free donut" campaign is offered only in the States. Love the people here ... I have been photo bombed and had laughs with these bunch of well trained, courteous and ever helpful staff. ??? Bar none ... cleanest best place for delucious donuts.Timmy's and MacD's "donuts" pales in comparison taste and presentations. Their pretend higher priced dressed up donuts is a cash grab.Go Krispy Kreme.
