Really nice place, clean and spacious. Vast menu with small amount of dim sum options. Favorites were the pepper salt tofu and the chow mein. We've had better chili chicken and better fried rice, but we would be happy to come and try again for other dishes. Price was for for the portions and taste.
Thought I would try this restaurant but what a disappointment. Ordered the rice noodles with beef and black bean and it was tasteless. Had the salt and pepper pork chops and a lot of fat and greasy tasting. The salt and pepper tofu was cooked too long and greasy. Had to throw away the chinese doughnuts as they were fried too long and greasy tasting.I will stick to a different Congee restaurant I usually go to. They are a bit more expensive but at least I'm not throwing the food away and it tastes good.
Good portion with quality ; truly Hong Kong Cantonese style ; good variety of menu selection; only one near the neighbor (Midland & Danforth); however, no Hong Kong Milk Tea
The food was quite tasty. The server took a while to come to our table and they took a while to bring our food but it was worth the wait. We gave the server a very generous tip as we saw that he was overwhelmed with orders.
Negative 1 million stars is what I would give this place if i could. I've been ordering from here for atleast 10 years. The food quality has dramatically decreased, the portions are smaller, the vegetable to meat ratio is 80 percent vegetable and 20 percent meat. People I didn't order a veggie dish. I can tolerate the increase in price but not the portion size or the fact that the dishes come with 5 pieces of meat drowning in onions. Customer service doesn't exist though I don't care about that, it's the food quality and quantity that has decreased to infant size. Rather eat the cancer burgers at McDonald's.

Pleasantly surprised. It's fairly small and gives off that local family run eatery vibe. It's not upscale and doesn't have nice fancy decor. Visually, it won't wow you. However, the value and food may.Service was very good during our visit and super quick. Very good value for the price and good cantonese style chinese food. I can see why it's a popular take out location. I'll definitely visit and order from again. Plenty of free parking out front as it's in a plaza as well.
If I could give a zero review I would. I ordered singapore noodles to pick up and they told me to come in 20 minutes. I went to do my groceries and got there 30 minutes later because they always take more time to prepare the food. When I got there and asked for my food, the guy finally told his cook to start preparing the food. I waited 10 more minutes to get and felt sick. Every time I order from that restaurant I have stomach issue. Now I am starting to believe that they use gutter oil depending on who you are. They wait to see who show up for the food them use the proper oil depending on their skin color.
This is the only decent place in the area serving Cantonese style Chinese food. It's a popular spot for takeout. The price is reasonable as long as you order what's on the menu. We once ordered something not on the menu and found the price was pretty steep.
The food was absolutely delicious! The chicken congee, bbq park and mixed vegetables were all so fresh! Another great gem in Scarborough for traditional Chinese food! Service was very friendly, attentive, and accommodating! Will definitely come again!
