And, you get four flavours to choose from. I tried regular and hot honey. If it’s your first visit, you’ll have to try regular as a baseline. The sweet heat of the hot honey was delicious. I couldn’t decide which one I enjoyed more and glad I didn’t need to. I've been here twice and got the same thing both times - 3 pc chicken with rowdy rub for $7.99. It comes with a small drumstick and 2 huge pieces of chicken thigh (it's the size of your palm and really THICK) the chicken is tender and juicy with a perfectly crispy skin.
Fantastic service! The food is always fresh. Very unique twist on fried chicken. I find it is a little over priced however well worth it. It is take out only. You can place the order over the phone and it up.
When they first opened, there was a line up every day it seemed. My boyfriend finally picked some up to try last week, because we've been talking about stopping by and boy! What a surprise. The chicken is tender, its rich in flavour and the pieces are mammoth large. Definitely a neighborhood fave!
This is by far the best chicken I've had in Scarborough. Their unique spices add an extra zing to the soft and tender chicken. The best part about them is that unlike other fast-food chains, they prepare the food right when you order. This makes the food taste fresh and super enjoyable. I ordered once and because the food there was really good, I went 3 more times. Also very friendly staff!!
Ordered the 11 pcs of spicy tenders with a combo of curly fries and a pop.Amazing deal for an amazing price plus was also given a box of another tenders for a trial. Both tasted amazing. Thank you Rowdy Bird keep up the finger licking work.
The chicken tenders are so meaty and flavor options are amazing! I love the curly fries. Can't wait to try the other menu options.
1 word.. DELICIOUS. Came all the way from Newmarket for their chicken sandwiches and it was definitely worth it.. HIGHLY recommend getting the big rowdy chicken sandwich with hot honey sauce. Huge chicken breast with the perfect amount of breading, extremely juicy and great flavours! The coleslaw and pickles made the burger a 10/10. We also got the rowdy chunks in spicy garlic parm, once again they hit the top.
Grabbed the Rowdy Original sandwich with Hot Honey and it was pretty average. While the chicken was seasoned well and crispy, the sandwich as a whole was imbalanced. There wasn't enough lettuce or pickles, and way too much of their garlic mayo sauce as seen in the picture. It got quite messy to eat and the garlic mayo covered up all the other flavours.
I saw their Rowdy Rubmler chicken tender promo pics and I never imagined the chicken would look exactly like the pictures. The seasoning is out of this world and you can see and smell the taste before you try it. I was told it was spicy but for me it wasn't too spicy so if you're a fan of hot food this might be fun to try. I also tried a side of coleslaw and it was a new (maybe beet based or purple lettuce based) one but good nonetheless.
