I discovered this place on a winter night when it was snowy. I am surprised I didn't try their food earlier than that. So far I have tried their Szechuan fried rice, spicy fried rice, lemon chicken and all of these were delicious. They offer a very generous portion size and quality food. I love egg in the fried rice and they even ask about any allergies before adding egg to the rice. Their chili sauce has a distinctive and good taste. Service is great. One of the best chinese food I have had in Scarborough. This is now one of my go-to places for take outs.

I usually get Chinese food in Markham and have been looking for somewhere to eat near my in-laws. I’m so glad we tried out Phoenix.They use good quality ingredients, have generous portions and just overall really impressed me.We have eaten here twice and both times like everything we ordered. Highly recommend if you are in the area.
Hidden gem right on Kingston Rd and Scarborough Golf Club Rd. It serves up great food, that you won't find in any other typical Chinese Restaurant. Has great selection, from spicy, to crispy, to sweet. Their Coconut Soup is great. And the size of the shrimp they serve is huge!
Love this place. Excellent variety of dishes. The ingredients are fresh and portions are good. Favs are the crispy beef, green curry chicken, dry ginger chicken and shrimp pad Thai. The staff are friendly and service is quick.
Haven't ordered from here in a while but was happily surprised the last time I did. Have only ordered Chinese food from here, so cannot attest to the Hakka/Thai selections. Food was fresh, not greasy and ingredients were of good quality. Staff are very nice and accommodating and even give you a giant bag of house-made shrimp chips with your order. Wish they had better Cantonese fried noodles (gong doong chow mein) but everything else is very good. The shrimps are a very good size, not those teeny ones you get at most restaurants. Will definitely be ordering from here again when I'm too lazy to make Chinese food at home.
Excellent service and food. Wish there were more menu items without msg but they were honest and up front about it which was highly appreciated ?? and they are right a lot of everyday items things do have msg.
Scarborough’s finest.I’ve been eating here for years. They treat my family like family. All the dishes are great.Still the best hot and sour soup I’ve ever had.
One the best restaurants for Asian food. The food is perfection at its best.???
Tasty food. Price is right. Used to drive 15 minutes for Same dishes not realizing this local place right around the corner.
