Had dinner with my mother there last night. We had the fresh spring rolls, vermicelli with fried spring rolls and red and mung bean drink with green jelly and coconut milk.All were delicious. Not too greasy and generous serving of vermicelli. The drink was so good. Nice that they accommodated coconut milk for regular milk as we r lactose intolerant. We will go back to try other on their menu.
When we don't know what to eat or cook, we head to Pho Metro. Their rice with grilled beef and fried egg is one of my favourites. The rice and beef portion is generous, which is ideal for me. We also had pork and shrimp spring rolls as an appetizer, which were very delicious. I'm just hoping they offer sugar in the condiments section because I like to sweeten my vinegar. My fiancé ordered grilled beef noodle soup, it’s nice that they separated the grilled beef from the soup and served with bean sprouts on the side. By the way, expect to wait in line for at least 5-10 minutes because the restaurant is always packed.
Food is good and the restaurant is super busy. We tried:1) Mango Salad with Shrimp2)Shrimp Rice paper rolls3) Pho (Beef/ Shrimp): The quantity is a lot for a single person.
They are always busy so grabbing a table can be a wait sometimes, but the food is so worth it. Their pho (P1) is so flavorful without being so oily like some other places. My other favorite go to dishes are B1 and C1!
I got bbq pork belly bahn mi with extra cilantro n I got EXTRA cilantro (see my pic). It was great. Tastes great. Generous amt of meat too. Made fresh to order. The carrot seemed to be not just plain carrots, but pickled kind, which was also even better. I wish they had a location in Oshawa lol
Perfect Pho for a cold winter day, like today. Ordered the House Special Noodle Soup and Deep Fried Shrimp & pork spring rolls.
My family and I have been visiting this place for around 5+ years from now since it opened its doors and they never failed to deliver (except for that one time where I found blue rubber band on my takeout a few months ago). Now having to get my takeout during the pandemic, their soups, protein, and noodles always taste fresh. Nothing’s better than an aromatic bowl of Pho soup during the cold weather too. The taste of their beef Pho soup is not too salty or oily - it tastes just right. It’s simple tasting and delicious enough to satisfy you.I recalled that the owners even recognize us and how my brother has grown even after years of service! Nice people and food here, so I really recommend.
I found the rating of this place and decide to try. It is not true authentic flavor of Vietnamese. Never come back again.
My fave place in the city for a bahn mi! BBQ pork is a great go to. Super fresh. It gets super busy at lunch and dinner so order ahead!
I cannot explain the richness of the broth. The curry pho was divine - subtle, a touch creamy, full of umami, and a hint of chilli oil. Just splendid.Best pho spot in the GTA... This location in particular!
