From five star this place became zero for me. I am sorry to give bad review for this place was one of my favorites. Their Haleem used to be amazing. I think 'Pariwar Restaurant' had management change, or may be they're struggling post-Covid.It used to be a clean place. After Last week's experience, I would never even order takeout, forget about dine in. We stopped here on Sunday after 4pm. They didn't have any appetizers/snacks, tea, or desserts except gulanb jamunl!!! It seemed the food menu was of no use. We were not in the mood of having dinner at that time. As we were already seated, ordered the available item- Biryani. Food taste, quantity - ok. But plates were sticky and broken, plastic cutlery- plastic glass were provided for dine in!! Had to request twice to change the plates, the servers fingers were touching the plates inside which wasn't a hygenic way as she was taking cash payments , again coming back to us without sanitizing/cleaning hands. Obviously, she didn't have any food and safety trainings. I felt sorry for the only server- She seemed to be working unwillingly. However, The last nail to my hope was- Her fingers dipped into the biriyani bowl while she brought it to our table ???.Thank you Pariwar, finally I know how foods are handled here. Good bye, you lost my business.
I just ordered a chicken biryani on a last minute before their closing and I really appreciate that they took my order and made it. The girl at the host was very hospitality enthusiast. Thanks to her as well. However, I do want to leave the tip but they wasn't having that option, so I hope some day the owner add up to it, would be great for their staff:) , Overall I'm satisfied.
*2022 Update*Well in one word It's a disappointment. The quality of Biryani has come down drastically. The rice was mushy, the chicken 65 was clearly a day old. It just wasnt UpTo the mark. Not worth the money, AVOID.Please like my review if you find it helpful.*Old Review*Pariwar is a Hyderabadi food joint and I have to say their Biryani needs a special mention, there are hardly any Hyderabadi joints in Toronto which serve such amazing Biryani and it's consistently amazing, I have had their Biryani 5-6 times now and it's the same amazing taste everytime. Other menu items are ok. I am From Hyderabad and can tell when it's authentic. One thing I noticed is this time they removed the chicken 65 and Mirchi ka Salan they use to serve with the special chicken biryani earlier. I think they should continue doing that. Please like my review if you find it helpful.
Worst experience!I never leave bad reviews to any place but this time i just had to, i called in for the order in advance still we had to wait 40 mins, there customer service is horrible, they dont even had fork, spoons to give us even when we asked!!I order vegetarian paneer makhani and found a piece of chicken inside that too!!People .. pls dont do this , as we spend our hard earned money.. to have a good time and good food. But this place was really bad ..
The food is to good to taste. We are a weekly customer. We love the food. My son eats 3 times Biryani from 7pm to 12pm s he really loves the taste of it.
The food was absolutely delicious for a reasonable price. The quantity was filling. We ordered the fish, chicken wings, chicken curry and rice. The customer service was also really perfect they would bring the food really hot and fresh right in front of us. Recommend this place for families
Great taste all the time! Have been ordering food here for 4y now and they’re consistently good at it. Special mention to Syeda who’s amazing at customer service. Syeda’s attention to detail towards customer’s requests is phenomenal. Had a good experience overall. Will continue to be a returning customer!
This restaurant used to be good when it newly opened. Once the original owners sold it, everything went downhill. Food quality is not the same, quantity is not the same, customer service has declined and overall bad experience. I hope they can go back to their former glory days. The current management needs to reevaluate their offerings.
Please look at my 4 star review from 20171 star review from 2021 December.- Asked for plain biryani rice and costed me $10+ tax where as later I found out chicken biryani is $11.49 + tax. This is called rip off. Lack of oversight on value to the client. Won’t go here again.- the taste is so so as well. Don’t see a reason to go for it again.—————————————————————————2017DEFINITELY A PLACE FOR TAKEOUT. CUSTOMER SERVICE is ZeroA small but mighty restaurant!Good flavors!Chicken 65Pariwar special chicken biryaniTandoori chickenAre the few things you should not miss. The portion sizes r quite large but who is going to complain about that??Great place for take outs.
This place is good place for Biryani. The taste is good. Place is not a big, but good enough for small groups. But food taste wise this is one of the best we have in Scarborough. Ambiance is just fine.Price is also good. It's mid range pricing for the food.
