recommended by friends and tried, the nyonya kuih is really good and impressed me a lot. It is family owned business and the food is affordable. highly recommend to give a call or email them in advance to order cuz take out only.
Authentic Malaysian cuisine, with a focus on hawker food. The curry puffs took 15 minutes, but the wait was worth it as the puffs were crispy and the flavours were amazing. The customization options for the laksa was worthwhile to note: choice of vermicelli, egg noodles or a mix + spice levels for the soup base (there was 5 levels to choose from!). Not pictured in the broth was the chicken and shrimp.Totally worth the wait. Both items were under $10 (rare to find these days). Can't wait to try other items on the menu.
We went to One2Snacks on a weekday early dinner time and they were busy with takeout orders. They are actually always busy because they are only open Thursday-Sunday (11am-7pm). There is no dine-in, just take-out and you need to call in advance. Their line was unfortunately unable to be reached, so we went to the store to order and we waited quite a bit around 15-20 minutes. We got one dish, the Char Kway Teow ($9.95) and it was honestly SO DELICIOUS and worth the wait. There was a lot if meat including pork and shrimp, the portion was big, the noodles were not overcooked, well seasoned and not too salty. Just the perfect noodle dish at an affordable price. I don’t know what else can beat it, I understand why this place is so popular. The only downside is their order system, hopefully they can make a more efficient system for customers to order. But I can’t wait to come back and try other dishes!
Great experience as first time diners to One2Snacks! Our family were accommodated last minute even though Emails are generally required to order a day before. Food was hit, fresh and tasty! And very authentic (I am Indonesian but have a great appreciation for Malay food!) The best was the portions and the prices though, more than fair. Will absolutely be back to try other dishes (our fave was the lasksa).
Placed my order over the phone: char kuey teow-mee, beehoon-mee laksa, and mee siam. When we got there, we added curry puffs to the order. The bill came up for about $38 - slightly more expensive than their menu displayed on Google but it’s okay, because the food brought back lots of fond memories of Malaysian delights - SO SO GOOD! I wish to return one of these days for their weekend kuihs. ❤️ Friendly service, superb food, large portions. Maybe just need to improve on the laksa packing - the lid leaked precious (seriously precioussSss) laksa soup all over.
Food is really tasty with a nice air of the wok flavour. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Everything is made fresh to order and the curry puffs have a great crust. The one downside is the wait is long (and can also be fully booked even though it is takeout!) so you have to email your order a day in advance to not be disappointed.
The best Malaysian eats in the city. My favourites are Nasi Lemak with Chili Padi Chicken, Nasi Lemak with Curry Chicken, Curry Laksa and Char Kway Teow. Call or email ahead, they usually sell out quickly. They are open only on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 11am to 7pm. Customer service is impeccable and the food is amazingly unforgettable. Don't forget to support local. #nasilemak #one2snacks
Great service! I sent an email with my order, got a call back to confirm the order and time. Easy peasy. The Curry puffs were also great as well as the noodles!
One2snacks is one of the most authentic Malaysian takeout restaurants I've ever tried. I think the curry laksa is one of the best things you can get there and I recommend everyone try it. You should not skip out on this place as it is very delicious and I highly recommend everyone come here
Great authentic Malaysian food at fantastic prices. I try to eat at One2Snacks as often as I can Before Covid, there wasn't a lot of space to eat at the restaurant. One2Snack is generally more oriented as a take out place. It's run by a very nice family. They have things well organized with Covid. The only challenge is that sometimes you have to wait a bit for your food as there are usually a lot of orders. It's a demand verses supply thing. You taste the food, you will understand. Regular customers know it's well worth the wait. Once you've tried their food, you will become a regular.
