I've been a couple times now after popping in on a whim and honestly it's really nice. Keep in mind I've never really been a fan of jerk chicken, I don't like spice for the sake of being hot, but this place makes it nice and flavorful.I order the $7 student special of jerk chicken, rice & peas, coleslaw and water, and frankly the portion is big enough that me and my mum split it when we go for a walk. The rice is delicious and the food is always nice and hot. The owner is super nice too, makes going to a new place that much easier. I see they get mixed reviews but frankly I haven't had any issues, I really enjoy when I do go out and get it.
One of the best Jerk Chicken I've had. Gravy is perfect on the rice. House hot sauce is good and spicy.
Unfortunately not great. Had high hopes as the pictures looked amazing. My food was all bones and potatoes. Meat, the little bit I found in the roti, was cut oddly and had shards of bone in the food. Ended up throwing it out. Very dry as well no gravy and was cold. Thought I'd try a new place and support a local business however I would strongly recommend trying elsewhere if you are inclined. Have eaten at many other great Carribean places and really hope this is a one off and not their usual, however based on recent reviews, it seems normal for them.
I had the jerk chicken it was excellent and goathead soup was fantastic staff is amazing
Ordered the Jerk Chicken for delivery, the chicken had a nasty burnt flavour from skin to bone, the rice was well cooked but it's only white rice after all, barely any flavour. Not only that, the portions felt small compared to other Caribbean/Jamaican spots I've been to.
Dry Dry Dry..... will not be returning.. jerk chicken is my favorite dish... 20$ for Dry Rice, Dry Beans and extremely BURNT chicken... will not be returning..

You HAVE TO TRY THIS PLACE!!!! we were in the area visiting a beach near by and came to this restaurant. Food was absolutely amazing! You must try the pasta salad that they make. It was amazing I went home craving for more. Definitely going back when I'm in the area
