I haven't been to this food court inside this small plaza for almost 10 years. I was nearby and drop in for a late lunch around 3 pm. The lunch rush is gone already. I order the 4 choices assorted BBQ plate. The price was good $8 for a box . I had BBQ pork.bbq pig. Red susage n duck egg with some vegetable n s daily soup. Well...quality is just ok..may be I was late so all the best parts was already pick by other customers.
Best BBQ duck in the plaza, i like to get extra sauce with my duck and rice combos, worth the drive from downtown.
The cashier lady is friendly, but that bumbaclatt of a butcher (the younger portly one) is a scammer. I ordered 2 roast pork ribs ("lerng fii siew laam") around Christmas time, and he pulled a bait and switch, and put in lean pieces of meat.I did not realize this until I got to my party, and saw that it was mostly lean meats and little bone, and it was very embarrassing.I do not recommend this place whatsoever regardless of how good the food is. Very dishonest practices, maybe taking advantage of the fact that I am a younger CBC. I hope karma gets them and I caution EVERYONE who can read this to watch that scamming butcher like a hawk, because he'll probably steal breast pieces from your chicken or roast duck as well.
My parents have been coming here consistently since I was old enough to remember, now whenever I come visit them they make sure to pick some up. We've eaten pretty much every part of a duck from this shop and it's always been delicious. Prices are fair and quality is consistent. We've shopped around at all the other BBQ places in the area but this place stays undefeated through all time.
First time try the bbq pork here. The pork is tender but is a bit too salty comparing to other Chinese bbq place.
The organic farm chicken taste was good, but kind of tough, you can taste it is from the farm, but it's kind of old I wish they can get the supply of not so old ones, then the price will be justified.
Very good price, portion and taste are decent.

Great pricing and friendly staff. I've ate and returned to this spot many times. This was the original bbq place at the Evergold Centre.
