I went in-store, ordered and paid for a Hercules burger. It contains mushrooms and feta. The staff failed to inform me they did not have any mushrooms when taking my order or the entire 15-20 min or took them to make my order. They then tried to wrap the burger until I asked where the mushrooms were, they said they were sorry they were out and only offered to sub in another veggie only because I had noticed. I would have changed my order if they had informed me they did not have one of the main ingredients on hand, instead I was made to pay for a meal missing one of its main ingredients and they tried to wrap it up without even informing me. I don't like leaving a one star review as I also work in the service industry but I felt I was being decieved and don't think I will be returning to this establishment or chain.
We stopped here after a family trip to the zoo. The food was fresh and the staff were friendly. My kids are all of their meals (rare in our home) and said it was so good, they would like more. We had souvlaki meals with Greek salad.
This place is absolutely amazing. The staff will go above and beyond to please each and every single one of your family members, including the picky little ones. I have been coming here for a few years now and I must say, with utmost sincerity, that this is the best family owned restaurant in town. The food is cooked to perfection, as well as great portions. The staff is super friendly and diligent. They won't miss out on your smallest requests. I've tried a lot of places over the years, and I can assure you that this particular Mr. Greek location will not only impress you, but it will meet and surpass your expectations. To the staff and owner of the restaurant: Thank you for working so hard to make your customers happy ! You're making our community proud. Keep doing an amazing job ! God bless you and yours !!!
DISAPPOINTMENT!!! I was not happy with the service, which I let pass, but the food quality was just horrible. I ordered the wrap, I watched them make it and they literally just threw items on and folded it in half, the lettuce was old and the chicken had no flavor and it was a mess to eat. There was no sauce and no taste what so ever!!! I ended up throwing most of it away. The souvlaki dinner was tasteless as well. I am not a big eater but for the price you pay, you would expect a little more in quantity. Fries was a side order and was just greasy and oily, watched them remove fries from fryer and dump then in foil container and close the lid. By the time I went to eat, fries were soggy, cold and just oily, no taste again - went to garbage. I would never go there again, they need new chefs in the establishment, those who know to cook good Greek food. DISAPPOINTMENT!!
Great service! The staff was very good and served us very well. It was the best Greek food I’ve ever had ! They also make the best fried kalamari. Definitely recommend this restaurant!
The restaurant and staff are amazing. They are always always friendly and we always get exactly what is ordered. I make some changes to the way the food comes and they are always respectful of my needs. This place is amazing.
First time here and we were very impressed. The atmosphere is bright and spacious, as well as very reminiscent to what you would see in Greece, from the white walls and wooden accents right up to the fresh seafood counter.We order a good selection of apps and mains and each was cooked to perfection, specially the calamari...super tender and very lightly fried. The service was prompt and very courteous, and very attentive.Overall great experience to get the greek food in Scarborough
The restaurant was clean and the staff were very friendly. We received fresh steaming pita bread along with a platter of tender and juicy meat. The food was delicious. The place has free parking. I highly recommend this place and would definitely go there again.
If I could give this negative stars I would.My friend called to order and we arrived after the time they gave us. First when we walked through the door, we waited a solid 10 minutes before we were acknowledged. There was 5 workers there and not one person said “give us a few minutes to take your order”.They were answering the phone for orders before even saying hello to us.Once the cashier asked how they can help, we told him it was for a phone order. He then asked how we want to pay. In the middle of our transaction, he picked up the phone to take a different order! What the hell?! He didn’t offer the debit machine or anything. Just went straight into the phone order. We were standing there wondering what is happening.We had ordered the salmon since my friends dad is pescatarian and they gave him chicken..called back to see if could rectify the situation and they told us they are sure they gave us salmon. The kitchen staff said they cooked salmon. And that we would need proof that it was chicken. We were not about to drive all the way back in the cold to deliver the chicken.What kind of restaurant is this?! Highly disappointed.
I’ve been to this location 4 or 5 times within the last 6 months, 100% of the time I order, my order is wrong. Most recently I ordered a gyro with fries and to add hot sauce. No fries or hot sauce. Pull through the drive though again to find out they don’t have hot sauce or fries? They didn’t know that when I placed the order? How?Won’t return here
