My family and I came here pretty early on in the day to celebrate Father’s Day (around 1pm) for brunch. I can say that the food was great but sadly can’t say the same about the service. when we arrived, the doors were locked (although the bistro had been open already), and we had to wait outside for 5 minutes until an employee came and opened it for us (not a big deal tbh). Upon opening the door, the employee did not greet us and simply turned their back to us and left. When we came in no one greeted us and instead we felt treated like a nuisance. A server just shrugged us aside and told us to sit down somewhere. Throughout our visit we had to call the server to our table multiple times to ask for plates, water and to remove finished plates (pictured above) etc. Aside from that, I’d recommend the “simp for shrimp” item on the menu which was probably the highlight of our meal. We liked the desserts better than the actual food so I’d say this is more so a spot for dessert.
It was really good! I passed by this place a lot of time but never get a chance to go! But it was worth the wait. I had chicken basket and Ferrero waffle, and it was so delicious! I personally don’t like mojito so I didn’t like the drink I ordered. The ambiance was giving me a vibe and definitely it was a good vibe! But overall it was a pleasant experience! Will be visiting again for sure!
The retro vibes and toronto-inspired mural makes this such a perfect place to chill and take pics ?Everything is halal and the highlight was def the waffle, honestly tastes as good as it looks! freshly baked waffle topped with sweet toppings such as kinder egg, bueno, and chocolate drizzle,, it was just super tasty and decadent ?Check out my IG page @kellychows for more! ?
Interior was clean, comfortable and very aesthetically pleasing. Even the bathrooms were clean and well looked after. Staff was friendly and communicative. The food portions were large and sufficient. The Something Meaty pizza was delicious! The shareable chicken platter was a good choice to have as it was filling with peri peri fries & unique cream cheese/jalapeño poppers. There are a lot of options available for desserts as well. I highly recommend this place for a casual dinner/dessert with friends; they’re open late too. Will be returning!
Ordered via Uber , it was well packaged and delivered on time. I got the Biscoff and strawberry cheesecake milkshake . Both drinks was good ! The Biscoff tasked just like the cookie , so if you are not a fan of it , it might taste too sweet.We also got the Biscoff cheese cake and it was good. I’m a big fan of Biscoff and I love that they had all the options.
The food was so tasty and all the portion sizes were way bigger than I expected! The decor is also super cute!
classic chicken burger was really good, and staff was super nice. Also, everything was fresh. They even gave us two cookies on the house. Definitely worth the price and the food quality was awesome.
A nice cafe to hang out with your friends or family for a little sweet hack. Great place and good staff.I tried their biscoff cheese cake which was filling and amazing. Next time I will definitely try out their milkshakes
My tween kids just fell in love with this place .. first we had very delicious burgers , shrimp bites and pizza .. it was all really yummy and halalThen it was sugar time .. milkshakes with different flavours .. all are yummy and well made.. the crepe was great as well. Not so much for the velvet cookieThe portion of food is small yet the prices are averageThe staff very friendly and helpful though they could easily get overwhelmed and would need more experience in running busy kitchen. For example starters were served after main course was eaten by the gang! Not all my family members get the food at the same time! on the positive side I nibbled on my kids food while waiting for mineOverall nice halal experience and would visit again for sure
Such a cute place!! Not only is the decor and a atmosphere fantastic - the food is delish too! Great service! It’s a 2 hour drive from us - but we’ll be making the drive again!!!
