Ordered salmon sushi, spicy salmon and dynamite roll. Sushi was ok. The prices were reasonable. I ordered at the end of the night and not certain if this impacted quality but sushi could have been fresher. I saw other comments about the amount of cucumber in the dynamite roll and I have agree it's way too much...cut back a little. It affects the balance and taste of sushi roll. It's interesting to see their vegan menu. I would try again at a different time to see if similar quality.
This is easily the best a la carte Sushi place that I have ever visited! The staff is incredibly friendly, the food is ALWAYS amazing (I've ordered from them 50+ times in the past 6 years!), and the prices can truly not be beaten!Support independent eateries like this! I'd be very very upset if it ever closed!If you want quality, variety, and good food for affordable prices, Mika is where to go!
Did not enjoy our meal unfortunately.. half of the sushi is just cucumber, as you can see in the pictures. Got the fire roll, dynamite roll and chicken dynamite roll. Would not order againIn response to the manager’s comment: My issue was not that there was cucumber in the sushi rolls but the amount of cucumber, when compared to the other ingredients. Also, I cannot tell the composition of the rolls when looking at pictures.. sometimes there is sauce on top, sometimes it’s the angle - I took a chance because I was a first-time customer. This review was not to bash your product but it was so other customers would be aware before purchasing. I wish you the best with your business.
my favourite sushi spot ever. great menu with so many options and such a good price. their salmon avocado is my favourite. so delicious every time. the employees are so kind as well and the food is always ready so quickly. also they have an amazing vegan menu.
First time eating from Mika Sushi and it was very fresh and worth every dollar!!! Very pleasant customer service and worth my slight wait for fresh sushi! Will be going back there again! Recommend YES ?
Raw pieces of mango in mango slush which was very unappetizing. Tapioca has a weird texture. Sushi was average.
Very very very disappointing, I mean the food looks good but I asked for extra soy sauce 5 times and they only gave me this 1and a half cup of soy..... I mean atleast 2 should come with the sushi tray and plus the extra I asked for. The other issue is since when are the shrimp tempura so tiny...... this is not tempura this is poor man's barely breaded shrimp. Not goin back
The vegan sushi was great!! My only suggestion would be giving some more soy sauce with the order! But other then that it was amazing!
Great option for vegetarian or vegan folks especially since there is a lot of options. I really liked the futomaki roll and it was quite fresh.
This is my go to sushi place. The small platter that allows you to choose 4 maki rolls is truly unique and a great deal. I haven’t seen that option at other sushi places. My most recent visit was a little subpar however. I ordered a California roll and a spicy salmon roll. The avocado was not ripe at all, but hard. I’ve never had avocado that unripe in any sushi restaurant. The spicy salmon I also found not very fresh and dry. Usually this place is great, but I wonder what happened that night. This was Fri, Nov 5 dinner time I had this bad experience.
