Randomly came here after a different restaurant was closed and I'm very happy that the other place was closed! We got the burger and chicken souvlaki on a pita. We ate both things before even thinking about pictures because it was so good! The chicken was moist and delicious. The burger was amazing! We also got onion rings with the combo and they were fried perfectly. Its very rare that people make onion rings good so I was really impressed. Would definitely come back!
First time visited this place even though I live across the street. The space inside was limited but they had lots of outdoor dining spaces that might be popular when the summer turns up. The interior was interesting! There were so many artistic choices made by the owner that makes you wonder in awe (both in a good and strange way). I couldn’t help but notice the “do this” or “don’t do this” type of signs which reminded me of my grandma’s home. Lol. Order a mama double and it was fresh and tasty. Felt a tad bit costly than other restaurants but if you are getting fresh, you might well pay for jt.
Wonderful little place. We got a large take out order and it was very good. Burgers were delicious and treated like someone spent hours at home making them. Not fast food at all. Owner and staff were very kind. Prices were reasonable for the quality and quantity of the food you get. Definitely worth the visit if you're in the mood for greek or a well made home made burger. Limited seating inside and out.Located in a small plaza so there is plenty of free parking.
Used to come by Mama's Boys once in a while for their gyros, poutine, burgers, souvlaki, etc. Moved out of Scarborough, so don't get the chance to visit much but was in the area last week.Portions are much, much smaller than I remember. The gyro was ok tasting but shockingly light on meat. The poutine was much smaller than before too. I know a ton of other places that serve the same items as respectable portions.I know operating costs might have gone up and eateries have suffered throughout the pandemic, but shortchanging customers isn't the way. Maybe I'll be back, maybe I won't.
Food just ok... loud, obnoxious, greedy, rude, non-community, argumentative; environmentally unfriendly , high staff changes.
The signature burger is an absolute must-try. The beef is different. Tastes different from the other burger shops I’ve tried. I’ve been buying and eating burgers from mama’s boys for more than 5 years! Always returning for a juicy burger. Mouth-watering and stomach filling! Worth every penny!
I used to LOVE going here.I was going to order from skip the dishes today from them but thought I’d save myself some money for delivery since I’m in walking distance.Skip the dishes says poutines are $9.50. I called ahead and ordered 3. With extra cheese that was $1.25 extra.When I arrived. My total was $49!!!!!!!!!!!! But my total was $33 on skip ?♀️The servings have been getting smaller as well.Unfortunately this will be the last time I order from them. $50 for 3 poutines is absolutely outrageous!
I used to love this place. Not anymore OVERPRICED ! Skip the dishes said poutines were $9.50 but instead of the charge for delivery I went in. I somehow ended up paying $16 for a poutine. 3 poutines costed $49…. They weren’t even that good. But I ordered ahead to pick it up, so I sucked it up. Last time I’ll go. Also the serving keeps getting smaller !! I’ve had multiple issues in the past, but the price difference today was really shocking to me.
I've been wanting to go into this place for awhile now, it just took a pandemic to do it. I regret not going to Mama's Boys Burgers sooner to be honest. Went in was greeted with a smile, the inside of the place has a very warming/home feel to it. Ordered Mama's signature burger with 2 patties, which I should say was cooked perfectly. I didn't want to add too many toppings as I really wanted to taste the beef itself and I wasn't disappointed at all. Now to have the pork souvlaki for dinner. If the burger is any indication of the quality of how it was cooked, I can't wait to have the pork souvlaki. A must go to Burger joint. Will definitely come back!
From all the burger places I've tried in Canada this has been my favorite. Strawberry milkshake was watery and luckily I checked my bag before leaving and realized they had missed something on my order. But l loved the taste and size of the burgers!
