As a Singaporean, I first doubted the authenticity of the neighbouring Malaysian cuisine served here, due to the dubious naming of the restaurant and the extremely “diverse” options on the menu. However, after learning that the owner is indeed a Malaysian himself, I knew I had to give them a chance. To test it out, I went ahead with the Roti Canai/Prata option, along with a side of chicken curry (default combo back home). I was surprised that at a price of $3 (Egg) + $1.50 (Plain) + $2.50 for curry, I did get taken back home with the very authentic crispiness, slight flakiness and flavoursome curry burst in my mouth. With the dimly lit interior and slightly outdated furniture stacked inside, the sight of the eatery might not be aesthetically pleasing to many but don’t let that fool you from the food that is served here.Dining-in is not an option at the moment, so I got to take-out with some disposable plates provided by the friendly lady who took my order and handled the cashier. Nevertheless, the strong stench that I suspect to be coming from the adjacent fish & meat store, can be extremely overpowering. It’s such a pity that the restaurant has to face the end of the strong stench, despite them serving some aromatic flavoursome food.I will definitely return to try their Mee Goreng and other Malaysian dishes in the near future, when I am in the area. I strongly hope that the issue of the stench gets fixed and dining in becomes an option by then, the latter being my only reason for not giving it 5 starts.

Loads of potential. But surely must try if a genuine fan of parotha. Missed the kurma option and curry was average. But fresh and reliable source of nutrition. Not over the top subtle good flavors.

Solid Kottu Roti and Paratha, looking forward to trying other things on their menu!

chicken chow mein is amazing. you wont be disappointed !!

This is a family driven restaurant with really nice food. No complain on their menu either. Why 3 stars? This place need a renovation like 10yrs ago !

Malaysian Fried Rice, with Extra Shrimp and Chicken is the way to go. Top notch Fried Rice and they give you big portions. Alot of things on the menú are really good

Before COVID-19 I used to eat here and the dining in was great, usually came late nights after work. Since the pandemic, have been eating take out and if you know your dishes everything is good.

Very very very strong flavours! Tasted ok! the restaurant smells bad- not sure if it’s due to the fish stall next to it or the restaurant itself. Lost my appetite after going in there for take away.! The couple who owns and serve there are very sweet. The 3 stars are only for that…

Since moving here from Singapore, this is the first authentic roti paratha i've had in Canada!

Tried their chili chicken kothu roti. Taste was average, nothing special, not so good or bad. Quantity was okay. Very friendly staff .
