Small place but staff is friendly. The BBQ pork is not salty and tender even one hour before closing.

Good portions, friendly people, tasty food. What more can you ask for? The best places for chinese food are hole in the wall joints like this one. Support small businesses folks. This is the first time visiting this place, I was thinking of getting a few combos for my family. When I went in a saw a couple who bought a pecking duck. Then a woman greeted me asking if I wanted to try a pecking duck and I tried the roast duck combo today , it was top notch . , I think it’s the owners was so polite and customer service oriented . Definitely coming back again .
Tasty yum yum for your tummy.
Bad customer service the two men who serve the customer, they look like they are forced to work there both of them look to the customer with angry look
I enjoy coming to this place, whenever I get the lady shes really friendly but when i get the male, hes not as talkative and engaging, food wise I enjoy it but there was one time I purchased the pork ribs and they tasted a bit too salty, not a big deal, I will just stick to the regular stuff like roast duck or roast pork.

Having lived in the L'Amoreaux area for over 10 years, I've never noticed this small (and somewhat hidden) Chinese/Cantonese Barbeque (BBQ) take-out place located at the small plaza on the Northwest corner of Birchmount Rd. and Finch Ave. E. I had a quick chat with the owner and apparently they've been there for about 30 years, which is incredible for a restaurant in Toronto.I myself only found out about the place through word of mouth, through a friend that recommended it after I mentioned a Chinese BBQ craving (BBQ Duck, BBQ Pork, Roasted Pork, BBQ Chicken, etc.).I suppose it's one of those restaurant gems that the local Cantonese community keeps hush-hush about, especially because they run only limited quantities of BBQ per day. By time I arrived at the restaurant at 6:30pm last night, they were already on their last servings of BBQ. So, I would recommend to get there around earlier dinner time or lunch time to get the best cuts and quantities -- likely sometime 4 to 5 pm would be good for Dinner.Keeping in mind that this is mainly a take-out place, the staff that work there were friendly nice. I didn't have any issues with ordering or having them help me figure out what dishes were best to order i.e. different combinations of BBQ and rice vs noodle options.I was surprised to know that the combo dishes were very reasonably priced. All ran me about $8-$12 each for a total of just over $30 after tax.I ordered 3 combos (which are shown in photos):1) BBQ Duck w/ (Lai Fun) noodles2) Four kinds of BBQ w/ rice combo (BBQ Pork, Roasted Pork, BBQ Chicken, and BBQ Ribs)3) Two kinds of BBQ w/ rice combo (BBQ Chicken & Roasted Pork)All dishes came with a side of veggies (Gai Lan) and a traditional Chinese soup! What's great about the soup is that they mentioned it is all home made and does not contain any MSG.Overall, the quality of the BBQ meat was very good. It was juicy and not dry unlike some other places. The traditional Chinese soup was tasty and healthy which was a nice touch. In short, I would certainly come here again. Great quality BBQ at a good price!
