Green Tea was refreshing and best out of entire order. Fish Pakora was worst. No fish in fish pakora at all. It was very very thick layer of batter with tiny overcooked fish chunks. Manchurian chicken fried rice was good. Hakka veg noodles was not good. No taste in food. Fried Banana was good, crispy and crunchy from outside and sift from inside. Not very sweet, perfect. Vanilla ice-cream was so refreshing. Overall not a good experience. Food is pricey without taste.
Was our favorite Hakka place. We drive from Ajax for this Hakka food. Food still good but dine in service become worst. Will never go for dine in. 4% service charge included with bill but never see any service.
Horrible horrible food. I wonder if the chef tastes the food before he sends it out because it was inedible.Ordered take out on Sunday - chicken wontons, chicken corn soup, crispy beef chilli chicken, sze chuan noodles, shrimp fried rice. Soup was too salty, almost bitter. Crispy beef was like a dessert, over powered with honey. Noodles tasted of nothing - no spice, no salt. Fried rice, chilli chicken and wontons were underwhelming.Please do better for people’s hard earned money in these Covid times.
Was craving Hakka so decided to get take out from Li’s. Ordered the Hakka dinner for 6. The portion was worth the price. Spring roll and lollipop chicken were really tasty. Really liked the beef too. Sweet and sour chicken was the best among all. Vegetable, noodles and fried rice were alright and tasted a little bit bland.
Ordered via skip the dishes today. Just sweetcorn chicken soup and Bombay chicken.The sweetcorn chicken soup had o chicken in it … no salt too ..!!! Hardly 2 pieces of chicken.. not sure why the hesitation to add chicken.Wanted to know what’s the hype about Bombay chicken … it’s nothing by chicken 65 with some ginger and garlic ..!!! Ok types ..!!! Nothing great bout it ..!!! Ok for the price.
Spent over $40 on door dashed and specifically asked for pepper packs and plum sauce but instead got 1 packet of hot sauce and 1 packet of soy sauce. Been in This situation multiple times but I’m done i wont be coming back. Simple things they can add when people order. I wont order again but hope ownership will fix this to keep customers
This is very poor service I order 4 dishes and they give me only 1 soy sauce and 1 hot chili sauce don’t understand what kind of service is that next time when I go there I we’ll return this 2 pack of sauces
Their lunch specials are always delicious and affordable. Better than most Hakka restaurants in town! Definitely recommend Bombay Chicken with Hakka Noodles ?
Not the best Hakka restaurant around.When we requested to dine in they did not check our covid-19 vaccine passports. The service is also not that great, they did not check up on us and did not give any napkins. They also charge you 10% service charge which is really rare to see these days. Also the food is too expensive for the portions you get. Not really the Hakka experience that you're looking for. You're better off finding another Hakka restaurant that's around the area and avoiding this one
Love this Hakka. They're foods not the best but better then any other Hakka of this area. Service is very promptly and staffs are very submissive.
