We had the valentines take away from lime tree, the value was fantastic, the food was very nice and big quantity! Also everything was ready on time! Would happily eat here again :)
Love this place so much. We went alot before lockdown and since get a lot of take aways. Mains were fine. Ordered two portions of cheese rolls for starters so 6 in total. Only 1 had cheese in out of the six. Rung them up and the lady I spoke to spoke to the chiefs who said theyd put cheese in. Im not disputing that but when they came out of the fryer and arrived at my house they didnt. £12.00 on pastry starter and not even an offer of a refund. Poor customer service sort it out Lime Tree. Its not a two way argument about whether cheese was in. The customer did not recieve what they had ordered.
Lovely place. Excellent food & choice of wine. Staff a great! Good Covid restrictions that don’t ruin the ‘vibe’ of the venue!
Was very nice ,bit overpriced, but tasted good. I just wished they did a good gyros and donner take Away.
Relaxing nice environment staff lovely. Food very nice, different and good value. Referb nicely done and knocking through next door was needed as it’s very popular.
A lovely early evening meal. Went for the 2 course meal deal. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. I ate a chicken skewer and it was lovely. My friend had the lobster and that looked absolutely delicious. Really nice food will definitely be returning.
was very quiet due to covid-19 , staff attentive room cold not a lot of choice either lamb/chicken..
Usually go in to Leeds to eat out & now I know why. We ordered a bottle of white wine which they didn’t have, then picked an alternative which they also didn’t have. We ended up having the house white wine which I would not recommend. To say the entire restaurant is full of bottles of wine it was a bit confusing. Anyway, we ordered our food, the ezme starter was a huge plate of basically cold chopped up onions like a cheap tasting tomato salsa. I got 3 soggy vine leaves for around £6 I think it was. Then the mains came...My lamb kofta were very dry. I used all my tzatziki & had to use some of my sisters just to make them edible. My dads ‘seabass’ was 2 small flat looking pieces of fish like a packet from Aldi. My sister was actually sick after getting home (she had vegetarian moussaka) so overall not a good experience.
Recently refurbished during the Covid lockdown and it has re-opened twice the size with very lovely fittings and comfortable seating. The staff are all very friendly too! It serves mainly Turkish dishes but does have other alternatives. Their cooks are excellent and the dishes are authentic and cooked to order. They now also have seats outside if you just want a drink. All in all, well recommended. It might be better to book as it does get very busy!
Dined out with a few friends, but not knowing the area I left it for them to find somewhere, they recommended Lime Tree and what a pleasant experience we had. We made advantage of the 2 courses for £15.99; I opted for the starter and main (Lime Tree Chicken). Pleasantly presented and decent portion sizes. My mate ordered the Chocolate cake for desert- I’ve never seen such a huge wedge! It was great value for money, considering the main was nearly £15 and we got 2 courses for 99p extra. The restaurant wasn’t overly busy (not sure if that was due to the time we went, the current pandemic restrictions or limited numbers and spacing) - but this did mean that we had attentive staff and good service and not having to wait around too long between courses. If I lived nearer I would certainly be going back!
