Found this lil shop in the area and its SUPER DELICIOUS. The donuts in the display case looked a bit sad but when you get it they freshly make yours and it looks waaay nicer. The texture is unbelievable as you get that soft mochi (like gummy) mouthfeel but its deep fried like a donut. I think its worth $4 if you wanna try or have a dessert snack after eating in the plaza.
April 2022 4★Located inside a south Asian mall beside the food court, this is a hidden find.If your interested and like chewier donuts, then a mochi style donut is for you. These are made of rice flour instead of wheat flour and has a chewy texture instead of a softer texture.This store offers multiple flavors. Individually, the donuts set you back 4$ each or a dozen at 42$. The golden strawberry, milk tea and taro flavors were all very good.These pair well with a cup of hot green tea.Would recommend trying it out.Not too sweet, but bring your own drink.
I tried an assorted box of mochi donuts from here and they were absolutely delicious. The texture is so light and chewy, and flavours were great. It's really easy to cut them up to share them as well. Really fun with a small group of people to try all the different flavours. Highly recommend if you are looking for a sweet snack :)
It was my first time trying this Japanese mochi donuts and I didn’t expect it to be this good. By far this was an amazing experience. Would definitely suggest anybody who hasn’t try it out yet since it’s made fresh, soft and chewy with a variety flavours to choose from. Fun fact: (the Japanese girl was friendly and taught me some words :)
Not your average donut! The flavours are so good! My favourite is the white rabbit cheesecake (not in picture). The texture is unlike any other. Soft like donut but chewy like mochi at the same time. They’re still good the next day too. I’m in love!
Very delicious Mochi donuts! So many flavours to choose from and they make them fresh! Only takes a few minutes to make one order.Only downside is that since they make them fresh, they are still warm and you have to wait for them to cool down. But I would still come back here for sure.
I called them and asked them if they could make me a donut cake (3 donuts on top of eachother) for my niece's 6th birthday because she LOVES mochi donuts. The person on the phone told me they have eclairs so they could do 2 eclairs if I wanted, I didn't know what it was so I told them I'd get back to them after checking out their page on instagram and website. I ended up going with what he recommended after seeing what the eclairs were and ordering another half dozen donuts for the rest of my family. They were super nice, helpful, professional, and answered all my questions. Yesterday I come and pick it up and it was perfect! The way they decorated it, and how delicious it was, my whole family loved it! They loved all the other flavors too! I am so happy I came to them for the order, they executed above and beyond. Thank you so so so much for making my niece's birthday that much better, my family will be back for more eclairs and donuts!
Wish I liked them more, I love Mochi donuts and have been a long-time fan of the famous Isabella’s mochi donuts so I was looking forward to trying a new place. Unfortunately the donuts so not compare to Isabella’s, the donuts are too thin and crunchy, too much air inside the donut. Although the decoration on the donuts look very nice.
Love this place! They have multiple flavors to choose from and even have a holiday menu. Came here for the first time on Wednesday with my husband and we were impressed that the donuts were freshly made in front of us. Will be back for more!
Very yummy mochi donuts! Highly recommend the Earl Grey and the Creme Brulee flavour. Presentation is top-notch. A fun shareable dessert to bring to parties. The only thing is the location is a little hidden...since it is deep inside the strip mall. If you are the owner reading this- I hope you open a location in North York! I am sure your product will be very popular in this area.
