Had their curry goat with rice and peas - comes with coleslaw! (Asked for oxtail but they didn’t have any)No complaints with the meal, the flavour great. The goat was well seasoned with a nice spice. I could of done with more gravy (next time I’ll ask) & the rice and peas was good, nice coconut flavour and not overloaded w. peas.First time having their food and would come back for more.My bf ordered the jerk chicken. He really enjoyed it. Chicken was juicy and there was a nice spice to it. He usually has a dry jerk chicken- this one was a bit saucy and he was very satisfied.
Been going for years and loving this place then I went there yesterday the food was completely different rice mushy meat bony and my stomach still hurts I don't know how this happened I would have gave them a strong 5 star any other time but today 1 star is generous based on how I feel after eating there, it isn't nice to feel sick after eating at somewhere you learned to trust and the people who ate with me noticed same as if the food was old or something wasn't right. Disappointed to br honest I couldn't go back after this experience if they changed the cook they need back the old one thus nah mek it.
First time ordering from here and the curry goat with rice and peas was the best I had! Very tasty and appetizing! Service was quick and food was ready 5 min after I ordered over the phone! Will be going back for sure! 5 stars
This is my go to restaurant for Jamaican food,tried a few other restaurants but thankfully I don't need to do that anymore.Kitchen King provides the best tasting authentic Jamaican dishes. I go here weekly and the standards remains high.
The chicken was delicious and flavorful! Tender and satisfy your craving for some good jerk chicken! I just wish the oxtail gravy was added as we requested. Other than that, this place provided good quality, fresh food and aromatic jerk chicken!
The food I got was nothing like the photos. They are not attentive to your order. I asked for oxtail gravy and did not get anything but dry rice. The jerk chicken for the small was so dry and it had bbq sauce on top? The actual flavour was good but just dry and barely any meat on the portion I was given. The coleslaw was spread out on top of the rice so once you put your fork in you realize it’s only about 2 tbsp… couldn’t even eat with the dry rice. The patty I got was hard on one side. I don’t know how they have so many good reviews. Most of the photos are not an accurate photo of what food you’ll get.Update - according to owner I need to ask for extra gravy - according to the photo there is NO gravy. No accountability from business owners = Lost customer. You can tell by their response - they can not own up to their mistakes.
The jerk chicken is one of the best I have had outside of Jamaica, they also have a good jerk pork.

My boyfriend works near here and always brings me home jerk chicken. It is hands down the best jerk chicken we've both had (and we try a lot of places). The chicken falls right off the bone, you can taste the subtle charded flavor, overall amazing. They even sell their sauce in store if you wwnt to try making it at home. If you are reading through these debating if you should go, go. You won't regret it.
Really great authentic tasting Jamaican food. One of the greatest things about Kitchen King is that the quality and consistency is spot on each and everytime. For me this was the best find in years for Good Jamaican food and also costumer service is good too for a change.
