I already tried this restaurant before when I still don’t have a baby. Now that I am a mom, I always go out my kids to eat. I gave 3 stars because the food is not that great but it’s good. Food portion is fair. For people craving for pho, to come here is not a bad choice or maybe you won’t be disappointed with the food but there are some pho place that serve a great, best and very delicious pho especially in Toronto area with excellent service, clean washroom, and everyone can dine with comfort. The only thing I was concerned about is, this restaurant doesn’t have any high chair, they only have one booster chair that doesn’t have any seatbelt to attach on the chair and also to my daughter and my daughter easily slid down. This restaurant is not “family/kid friendly” restaurant. I have a 10months and 2 year old, we would like to enjoy our food but we cannot so we had to eat fast without enjoying the taste of the food. Service is ok, they kept on forgetting something. When I asked the girl server for high chair, she said they don’t have booster and high chair while giving me a face like she was trying to hold on her laugh ?, weird. For family with small kids like me, who use high chair and booster, maybe you can think if you would like to dine here otherwise you won’t have the comfort while eating. I was eating in very uncomfortable position, my bowl was far from me because I am afraid my daughter will just grab the soup. So I was eating with lo on my lap and far bowl. ?. I will never ever come back here again with my kids. If it’s gonna be just be and my husband, then sure, why not? But with kids, never ever again! ?
Post rainy day dinner, decided to go for Pho.Visited Pho Kim Po on a Wednesday evening since I was craving Pho on a rainy day. Except it became sunny when I got here.Starting with the food I the Pho Dac Biet (House Special Pho) and Bun Cha Gio Ga Nuong (Spring Rolls and Grilled Pork on Vermicelli). For the Pho, I actually like the broth. It was tasty and didn't leave me thirsty like some other places. One thing I didn't like however is that there's not a lot of meat. There's another Pho I know that is more generous. But this is average amount which is alright. Another thing I didn't like is the noodles were all bunched up and stuck together. For the vermicelli dish, I enjoyed this a lot. The spring rolls were very crispy. The pork chop was marinated with lemon grass which made it delicious.Next is the location, it's it an obscure place near Steeles and Kennedy. May be hard to find but worth finding. The inside is big enough and can fit about 10 groups plus some high chairs for individual diners. For the service, it was really quick and we didn't wait long for the food.I enjoyed my time here but this place did not make my top 3 Pho restaurants. Definitely in the top 7 though. Check this place out nonetheless if you're craving Vietnamese cuisine!
Worst place ever. Would never recommend this place. Even if you starving don't go hear. The food and service wasn't good at all. Gave a tip then demanded more of a tip. These people money hungry and bold. Made a big scene. It made me want to take back my tip. If service and food was better wouldve been different. But tip is optional not mandatory like these people claim I would never go back here
I was at this restaurant last night , the service was horrible. The food was not that great either. The older waitress was extremely rude walking around giving us dirty looks when made friendly eye contact . We asked her the status of our drinks she pretended she couldn’t speak Vietnamese and she couldn’t speak English either and she’s Vietnamese Chinese. When asked to refill our hot teas she gave us attitude and didn’t acknowledge us at all. An extremely rude waitress. We will never return to this restaurant.
Great place to get phó. Broth has very deep flavor and portion is very generous. Love their deep fride tofu appetizer. Their grilled chicken and egg rice combo is also a must try. Friendly staff, fast service. It can sometimes be busy and not a lot of parking spot. Unless you can park at Pacific Mall and just cross the street.
A definite 5 star. Speedy service and great taste. The broth was rich and the spring rolls were extra crunchy. The beef was seared to perfection.
Service was fast, large portions for the price. However, they didn't clean the bean sprouts properly, and the washrooms weren't the cleanest.
Came for a early dinner and our party was a group of 4. We were seated right away and we were able to order. Food took longer than usual to come out. Can’t say they were busy as we were the only customers in the restaurant. The pho tasted the same, just not hot enough when it came out. My rare beef seems like it was cooked in the broth before putting it on my bowl as it was borderline chewy. The noodle’s itself was harder than before. They use the dry noodle.Spring rolls hasn’t changed. Best spring rolls Iva had in the city.
Tasty dishes, a bit at the pricy side.
Worst service. Minus $20 for a large bowl and I have a terrible stomach ache.
