The best Shwarma in all of Toronto, on the stop every time i go through. Fresh and always the same taste. Never disappointa always know what your going to get

Worst Shawarma I’ve had in the area. Chicken was so dry. Tabule salad was under seasoned (needed salt and acid) and the rice was over cooked. They also give you the thinnest layer of rice ever. A piece of chicken was so dry it looked like a crouton.

I think it's safe by now to say that everyone has heard of the term that abs are made in the kitchen... I will add something to this by saying that it doesn't have to be in your kitchen at home or by eating bland and boring food! I had the opportunity today to pass by and visit my old friend Johnny at his shawarma restaurant on Kennedy Road not far off the 401... @johnnysshawarma is consistently ranked in the top handful of shawarma restaurants in the city and I can honestly say that I've never had better shawarma anywhere (not even when visiting Israel!)... And that says a lot considering with my middle eastern roots (my Dad was from Egypt) this is one of my favorite foods as it's delicious as it is nutritious especially when given the option to swap out the starchy carbs like the insanely good rice and potatoes with equally amazing salads and dips... Make sure to stop by and grab a bite if you are heading anywhere East of the DVP off the 401 and let them know Andre sent you ???

This is a long term review. Over the years (pre-pandemic), although this restaurant can produce delicious shawarma, unfortunately, it lacks consistency. For example, one day the rice taste spoiled and on another day, the garlic has a very watery consistency (please see photo). As a result of the multiple inconsistencies, I am reluctant to return to this restaurant.

Definitely a nice shawarma plate with a lot of different flavours. Love the chili garlic butter stuff it comes with. Came early in the day and wasn't too busy, this plate comes with pita bread (which was also brushed with the chili garlic butter stuff) that I ate before I took the picture!

I tried the Chicken Dinner Shawarma, and while the food tasted alright, the portion size was less than that of the capacity of the container, which left me feeling dissatisfied when considering that the price was almost 15 dollars including taxes.

Stopped here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon - my BF ordered a beef shawarma and I had a mixed shawarma (chicken and beef). They were really yummy and well made for a reasonable price! If you're in the area - stop by!

I got a beef wrap foe lunch, and i wanna say if your are a wrap lover you gonna love it.

Without a doubt the BEST Shawarma in Ontario! Superb friendly customer service, great portions, excellent pricing, and more. I first ate at Johnny's Shawarma in 2003, and continue to be a loyal customer almost 20 years later. It truly is ADDICTIVE!

Food was absolutely spectacular! We ordered 2 mixed dinner platters, samosas, falafel and 2 sides of garlic sauce ( spicy and regular) ; the portions were massive and all tasted amazing. The service was just as great as their food; the owner was super friendly and made fun conversion while he made our plates. If you're a garlic sauce lover, do yourself a favor and order a side of it; it comes in a massive container you can keep in your fridge for days.20/10, definitely our new shwarma spot !
