The food is great and the portions are awesome. Best place around for breakfast. You will not leave hungry.
Love a good greasy spoon that has good food! Hard to find these days. We are new to the working area and one of my co-workers suggested the chicken souvlaki at Jerry's. So glad she did, my husband who is pretty picky actually text me this morning to say.... lets get that again for tonight....that is a compliment in itself. The seasoning and the char on the chicken was perfection. Looking forward to trying the fish and chips too.... two tables ordered it while I was waiting....looked very good.
Decided to give this place a try and regret doing so. I ordered Halibut and chips but I did NOT get halibut. This fish I got I'm guessing would have been Haddock, I'm not a person who can be fooled with Halibut. The other thing was that this food was super greasy, smelled like old grease as well. Very shady indeed to try deceive people, I will never return and wouldn't recommend anyone eating there unless you like greasy food and deception.
Best halibut in the city! Relaxing atmosphere , great service and cozy too. Enjoyed immensely!
I would like to attach a photo of all the raw batter I mean raw sticky batter we pulled off the cod fish, which was a 1/4 inch thick. There was more batter than fist. Coleslaw was tasteless only cabbage in little lemon, hopeless. Fries ready made fried cooked in rancid oil.60.00 for 4 orders NEVER EVER NEVER EVER GO THERE AGAIN. OTHER REVIEWS WERE LIES. *00001 today . you'll be sorry.

the food is not bad. but found a strand of hair in my greek salad. its understandable where floors are a bit messy with residues and particles, but it doesnt go in food for crying out loud. not very clean it seems. and also it seems jerry has a comprehension/double checking-clarification issue. i asked for 3 shrimps and a fish fillet, and he gives me 4 boxes of shrimp with so much fries when i didnt even ask for fries or 4 boxes of shrimp. i asked for just 3 shrimps individually. and he solicits more things to be bought like greek salad where the strand of hair was in it and adds so many extras not even asked for probably charged for like coleslaw and hot sauce. didnt even give me the buttered bread i asked for. i ended up buying it all to avoid ruining my day with a hefty confrontation. decided to take the rest home. not going back.
Owner is very nice. Had the Halibut and chips and the price was great, Much lower then all of the other fish and chips places in Toronto. The Halibut was delicious and the fries were very good also. Great quality and price, Would highly recommend!
the food was nasty and salty the fries where really greasy the coleslaw was very unpleasing ..when you look at the food its looks great but when you assume it and eat it has a salty and greasy heavy taste that I couldn't finish and made my stomach hurt...very bad first experience
