Normally we have a good experience here, not the case for my fiancéâs birthday. Our appetizers arrived timely, but our mains took very long. It wasnât especially busy. My fries were ice cold, and my fiancés chicken strips were also cold. Her replacement came so long after, we all had already finished our meals. I replaced the cold fries with salad, which I just took home, as I was already almost done my main. We were never offered water refills, but we were offered alcohol refills repeatedly. Very bad experience, we probably wonât come back.
Restaurant was over heated and uncomfortable
Large menu and pretty good service. The burgers were really good, however, I didn't quite like the asiago chicken. Plenty of drinks to choose from and also nachos is a classic at any jack Astor's
Waiter was rude, not really friendly and didnât say anything after the cheque was paid. Found a hair in my drink. Steak was very tough.
Came here for lunch on a Wednesday… Patio was very nice! I ordered the the chicken breast with potatoes and veggies… It was way more delicious than I expected! Had great flavour, minimal salt, and the chicken was moist and cooked well. Also had some tasty cocktails to go with the foodKEY factor to our experience was our server, Marc, who was super friendly and went above and beyond to serve us! Really made our dayWould definitely come back here! 5/5
The patio is great. Plenty of umbrellas to shade from sun. The meals are well proportioned and so yummy. The goat cheese and grilled chicken breast wrap is awesome. The service is always good and friendly. Great spot to gather with friends.
Great food. Excellent service provided by Marc. Highly recommend!
This is a review covering the two nights my daughter was appearing in a play at a nearby venue. First night with friends and family, solo the second night. This is a large venue with indoor and patio seating. Neither Saturday nor Sunday was crowded so seating was prompt. So was the courteous service by the wait staff. Bottom line, I and all were pleased with the meals. Personally, I preferred the Holy Smoke burger over the chipotle, if only because the lack of heat in the latter. Both were generous in portions, however, and quite delicious. Tip: order the scrumptious coleslaw and not fries with the Holy Smoke because it comes with fried onions. Otherwise, the Fiesta Salad with grilled chicken and the Sesame stir fry were real hits. With two draft and a house red first night for 4 came to $110 before tip. Second night, with two draft $45 for one before tip. Good eats.
As always, the service I receive at Jack Astor’s STC is very good. This afternoon, we had the pleasure of having Mark and Marc as our Servers and they were absolutely amazing! Mark is so cool and knowledgeable. I enjoy chit chatting with him cause he takes time to explain and answer my questions so kindly. Mark and Marc both checked in on us regularly to make sure we were good. The food was exceptional as is the service.
Stefan was the most wonderful waiter as he was professional yet personable and brought our food to us promptly. He provided excellent recommendations for food preferences, and he had a great attitude! My girlfriend and I quite thoroughly enjoyed the spicy chicken fingers, fries, salad, and sangria that we got, as well as an added chocolate peanut butter tart that was gluten free and vegan!! Definitely a place to go back to!
