Hinahanap hanap ko ang masarap mong luto Bossing Jake..lumipat man kami d2 sa Ottawa,ikaw pa din ang babalik balikan ko sa Toronto. Ibang klase ang lasa,sarap na nalalanghap at napapanaginipan. Highly recommended mga kababayan ko.Kulang ang buhay nyo kung di pa kau nakakakain ng luto ni Bossing. Miss u B. Jake.!
One of my go-to spots for some Filipino comfort food. Great place for pork or chicken adobo. Pork and chicken skin chicharron. Classic Filipino dishes that you can get as a combo, like if you went to a Filipono family gathering!
Good portion for the right price. Food was good, staff are accommodating.
All the food was delicious. Definitely stop in when you are in the area. You won’t be disappointed.

When this place newly opened, their dishes were loaded with ingredients such as their Pansit Bihon. It was really good then, now you don’t see any ingredients at all instead I see very thinly sliced fish balls, so thin it can hardly be seen with lots of celery & carrots, also loaded with toyo making the pansit look so dark & salty. Another time I bought Paksiw na Lechon, it mostly had fat of the lechon that it was so greasy. I was very disappointed with their dishes that I have decided NOT TO BUY from them anymore. I have ordered takeouts from them so many times that I don’t deserved this type of service. Why are they skimping on their ingredients & delivering very mediocre dishes?
I would rate this place as 2/5. Tastiness: Overall, masarap pero inconsistent. For example, a kare-kare ordered one day tasted so good, lasang-lasa ang gata; then ordered another day, it tasted like pakbet. Kilawin din, one day was perfect, the next was a tad watered down. At least, hindi siya served karinderya-style that is mostly fillings. A point was lost because of this. Service: Overall, frustrating. They forget parts of your take-out order, then promise you they'll add it to your next order and then some, pero merong b* na serbidora who doesn't want to honour the Owner's instructions to fulfill the promise. Twice I've encountered said server with awful understanding what Customer Service is to the food industry. They lost two (2) points kasi ang sama sama talaga ng ugali ng serbidora. Para bang nagmamagaling pagwala ang mayari; feeling boss siya. Yes, kilala ko kung sino sa kanila ang mayari, and at all times na masama ang ugali ng said serbidora, wala ang amo.
After playing at the park and working up a good appetite with the kids on the playground, we looked up nearby restaurants and lucky we found J & J Kapuso Filipino Restaurant. The food was hot and ready to go! We got our ulam and rice and was diving into it within minutes. The staff was super friendly and even played a little with my tiny humans as they looked around the store instead of admonishing their curious nature. We got the kare-kare, and it was amazing. Very creamy, peanut buttery, and full of meats, tripe, and veggies. The white rice was perfection! We ate together and enjoyed every bite. Can't wait to come again and try more dishes. Also love that you can pick up a few Filipino grocery essentials!
