We came to celebrate my hubbys birthday. We ordered the 2 way mussels in tomato sauce and the creamy penne porccini with spinach and mushrooms. The food was good. The qualities large. Our server Lola was so helpful. We will visit again!
I wanted to try a new pizza joint and stumbled upon Il Fresco. Ordered the Nove Pizza. I really liked the stone oven touch. Pizza was fresh and tasty.
pasta was excellent, the seafood pizza was amazing too, thin crust not charred. cooked just right. Only gripe is the chicken wings, i guess its to be expected for getting wings at an Italian restaurant.
I Have been to IL Fresco many times and the food variety and quality has always been outstanding. went with the chef's recommendations and got some taken out and the food was mesmerizing. They have special for Mother's day it would be worth taking your mum/ wife out... . Best wishes to this awesome place.
We visited this restaurant at 12:30 pm on a Saturday. It’s located on Kingston road. The outside looks rather small and the inside is not that much bigger either. The decor is rather plain. There’s only pictures on one side of the wall and a tv on the other side. There’s a bar by the front door. Tables are dark brown and chairs are black with black chair covers. The server told us to sit wherever we wanted to and she was wearing her mask which we appreciated. We choose a booth. She brought over menus and water. I ordered the special which was breaded sole, veggies and risotto for $19.9.9 and my husband ordered chicken parmigiana for $17.99. His came with a large piece of breaded chicken and lots of cheese, mashed potatoes and asparagus. We both enjoyed our meals, the food was delicious. I also ordered the house wine $5 and funnel cake for $12.99. It was huge. There was two scoops of ice cream on top and sprinkled with sugar. I wished it came with extra sauce on the side. It was also over cooked a little.
So glad we tried this restaurant. Food was delicious, tried the seafood plate, cod with rice and veggies, gnocchi and steak with potatoes and vegetables. Also tried the creme Brule, tiramisu, Italian funnel cake and my absolute favorite crepe. Can't wait to bring my husband!! Place was very clean and server and chef were very attentive.
Beginning of dinner was great, food was wonderful, however when we received the funnel cake fries, the top ones were hot and fresh but the bottom ones were cold and stale. Then it took a very long time to pay our bill.

Got some takeout tonight and the entire family loved it! We all had different pasta dishes and they were all fantastic. We will definitely come back!
