Owners are very friendly, hopia and empanadas are delicious. Worth the drive and the price.

Amazing experience. I had a craving for the asado empanada but you have to pre order. Luckly they were able to accommodate me an hour before closing. I got it hot and fresh. And it was delicious. ?

I pre-ordered a few dozen empanadas as gifts to relatives this Christmas. Arvin was very accommodating since I rescheduled pick-up due to the weather. Of course we had to get some for our family too. The pastry was so tasty. I actually enjoyed the vegetable filling but my fave is the pork. We had a few leftovers that I put in the fridge. Popped it in the oven for a few minutes and it tasted like it’s freshly made. Yum!

Got a craving for something warm, flakey and wholesome on a cold winter day? Grab some empanadas at this wonderful spot. The chef was so patient and helpful at explaining the different options they have available. These empanadas have the perfect amount of sweetness to the pastry, making it a perfect pairing with an afternoon tea.

Delicious Empanada ever. Stuffing taste great, and the crust crunchy to the last bite.

The hype around the Home of Empanada is true. The crust is light, flaky, and has just the right amount of sweetness. No frills take out only place maybe 10 ft wide but that's all you need. Co-owned by three friendly Filipinos that are hands on with everything. Gave us a couple of empanada samples as it's our first time there, won't be our last! The empanadas are better than the hopia which leverages the same crust, I'm glad they didn't call it home of hopia. They also have siopao (steamed buns) and other goodies.

I travelled to the place all the way from Mississauga and almost closing but Chef Arvin waited for me, he gave me empanada and hopia to taste and I ended up buying 6 dozens of empanada and a dozen of hopia bec it is sooo good, the empanada is flaky and tasty that 1 is not enough

The best empanadas!!!Chef is so nice and humble, wonderful customer experience and great tasting foods.

So I'm not sure how long this place has been in business . But I'm so glad I came across this place. Today along my walk I decided to come in. Very small place but very clean and very friendly. As they had a free sample Empanada to my surprise I have to admit it was delicious.....
