I would give no star if I can, FOOD POISONING after we have the sushi, two of us went to emergency in middle of the night!!!Food NOT fresh and some of them are stinky!!Besides the condition of food, it also NOT QUALIFY to be “sushi”, the rice is sticky and none of them like the real sushiWe contacted the store after that, their attitude is like they not care, no apology, no solution (it costs over $100 of the dinner)Actually it’s the worst food I had in Toronto
I ordered takeaway around 10 pm on May 22, the food was so bad that I got food poisoning and went to the hospital! Report it to the takeaway platform and the restaurant and they don’t care. The tofu and sushi are completely expired food, the sweet potato is undercooked, and the sashimi is fishy. I have retained the relevant food evidence, as well as the hospital’s certificate.
They charged me $14 only for 9 pieces in a very ugly container and a very small cup of wasabi . The miso soup was cold and the quality of the food was disaster. I would never come back there and never recommend it. Also the baby onions was not fresh and was rotten and had a bad smell. The fish was not fresh and the kitchen is too messy and dirty. Do not put your health at risk. The lady and the guy are not very welcoming as well.
The sushi is great and price is good but there needs to be better promotion or deals, something to look forward to. The service seems very lack luster, the old lady didn't seem to want to be there and felt like she would rather be some where else and my presence wasn't acknowledged by her even though she was supposed to be front of house. The old guy working the sushi seemed happy and was the one to acknowledge that I was there. They also give very little wasabi and ginger. If I'm ordering 40+ sushi, 1 little small tablespoon size of wasabi and ginger isn't going to suffice. Make sure to ask for extra.
I don't normally leave negative reviews for restaurants but today really irked me. I tried to phone in an order for pickup and was told 30 minutes. That's fine. But don't tell me when I arrive in 30 minutes that its another 20 more minutes. Instead of waiting at home, I have to camp out in my car in the middle of winter? And the sad thing is, they've done this before.And to be clear, I didn't bother waiting this time either. The food is decent, don't get me wrong, but they aren't exactly the only place in town for a sushi fix. Maybe ill try them again in a few months to see if things improve.
Miso soup is very salty and fish bones in the sushi ?ridiculous!!! Definitely the worst sushi I ever had.
Despite of being a vegetarian I like sushi at its best. As this place right below my condo it was a go for me. They have a good variety of vegetarian sushi.Overall had a nice experience. Tried few veggie options and will be coming for more.
The staff is very kind and loving but the sushi was not amazing. It’s a great value for a quick pickup but with so many options you can get the same order from other nearby restaurants with tastier ingredients. The fish was well prepped and fresh but the rice was didn’t taste as fresh. Similar to that of “fast-food” sushi where the rice is fluffy and firm.
The salmon domburi drizzled with spicy mayo sauce, soy sauce, wasabi spread, and their special sauce was extremely delicious. The fish was extremely freshed and the rice was well-made and had flavour. So glad I lived near this place.Out of all the sushi places, I genuinely recommend this place.
Excellent sushi, very friendly staff. Would eat every week if I could :)
